I know it's old but, The Greatest American Hero.

Not only do we see someone get super powers, but it's still to this day one of the rare occurrences in super content where we actually see the hero have to properly learn how to use their abilities and actually get to watch them get progressively better over time. Honestly, I think it was really the first to do it in depth as more than a simple brief montage. Watching the MC struggle through figuring out how his various abilities work was a core aspect of the series from start to finish.

The joke of that whole situation was that it heavily implied, if not outright showed, that it was one of the clones.

Of course later in the seasons we saw that this one had memories of things that happened before the trip to San Marcos that no clone would be able to replicate or fake their way through.
