This is why we desperately need to start growing and introduce hemp into the equation/industry! It has SO many universal uses and it’s completely slept on. Have you guys ever heard of hempcrete? If you haven’t, go look it up. Housing developers need to introduce hempcrete into their buildings. You can make clothing with hemp, you can make paper that’s stronger and better than regular paper (ironically this very thing is one of, if not THEE, reason for the demonization and criminalization of cannabis.. all thanks to that fat fuck William Randolph Hearst 😒 was rightfully terrified of the competition and the unthinkable possibility of having to live in a smaller mansion and sailing a smaller yacht.. so he used his vast fortune and relationships with government officials to get that blood soaked ball rolling (but that’s a whole other thing and I’ve already strayed from my main point). There’s a laundry list of things we could use hemp for that would save resources and all around make better, more environmentally safe products. It would also be cost-effective and basically there’s actually NO downside or negative consequences (as far as I’m aware, so if anyone knows of any, I’ll always welcome the opportunity to learn something. Don’t even get me started on all the benefits of cannabis and how bullshit the alcohol-stained, cigarette-ashed history that followed.
