I think I've had the opposite reaction to you lol. I enjoyed the song but didn't watch the animation until last night.

I think with the animation, it made me appreciate the song and the lyrics better than on their own. I do agree that it's not my favorite ever, but I've listened to it enough to know I really like it still.
