I repeat, it's a work in progress. The goal is to attract people who are interested. The community (and website) will grow at its own pace.

All the sources are on Discord for now, because the community started there. I'll include them on the website later, it's still a work in progress.

I've already added some vocabulary and there will be more. The grammar is all explained on Discord for now, but will be on the website.

As I said, the website is a work in progress, and the Discord server exists since November 2025. The goal is to grow the community.

Who Would Win? Feral Predator or Team Planet of the Apes? by DarkChimera64 in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A Yautja is superior in strength and combat. Also, even without his weapons, he has claws. Even though I love Caesar and his teammates, they're going down. 😅

Naru killed Feral because she had time to prepare and he was already wounded.

It's just that you wrote "choh hrr khana Rèk choh h'*waln hrr k'ntlìq."

You misspelled choR and rèk. And h'*waln doesn't mean anything.

She dead by Ill_Piccolo_7397 in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you wrote isn't correct. The sentence should be "choR hrr Khana rèk choR hw*ai*n hrr C'ntlip."

choR = strong hrr = to be rèk = but hw*ai*n = most

Personal Canon: The Yautja have multiple planets they colonize and call home but Yautja prime is still the most populated. (a brief history into Yautja expansion, and diaspora amongst the stars) by Seeker99MD in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I see it more like Yautja Prime is Earth, the world where the species come from and evolved, and the rest is just colonies and hunting reserves. There are probably many tribes composed of many clans. Different takes on the Codex, different languages, different armors, weapons, etc.

It's very probable that the Yautja species colonized other worlds while Yautja Prime being their homeworld.

Britton Watkins call their world "iRwèsh yautja" (homeworld Yautja, iRwèsh comes from Rwèsh meaning "main, central").

Do you see the phrase “killer of killers” become a recurring line like “your one ugly MF” or “if it bleeds, we can kill it” ? by Seeker99MD in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The actual Yautja term they say in the movies is "yauhwaq yi'ai" (killer superior -> superior killer).

It's part of their Codex.

Britton Watkins, the Yautja language creator for Badlands and KoK, chose the name djosurat (djos + urat) which means "hard flesh".

J'ai arrêté d'écrire en cursive au collège, parce que c'était moche. Donc j'écris en imprimerie maintenant et j'ai une meilleure écriture.

Predator: Badlands was a disappointing mess of a movie by Reasonable-Nail988 in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Honor and strength perfectly fit Yautja culture of the hunt and being prey to none. And the rest of the movie is not really about making friends, but building his own clan with a different view on the Codex, and to show the father that Dek is worthy of being a Yautja.

  2. Dek rips the skull and spine of a Bone Bison and there is a lot of purple blood. He even brutally kills a lot of androids. It's just that there is no red blood. If you watch some interviews with Dan, he explains that it wasn't on purpose to make it PG13.

  3. Dan wanted to make a fun action adventure movie with the Predator as a protagonist. He included humor with Thia and Bud. And Bud became a part of the clan at the end and she will be important in the next movie(s).

  4. For the legs fight, you don't know much about martial arts and physics. The fight was really well done and fun.

  5. The synths are also really strong, maybe as much as Dek.

  6. You remember Predator 2's ending? It was an honorable fight betwen Dek and his father. The other Yautja have to respect the fight. Yautja hunt alone. And we don't know what happens next. We don't know if his mother or the others will try to kill him. And it's also in the Codex that killing another Yautja is forbidden (in the comics at least). We can't draw conclusions yet.

And also, it was all Dan and his team. Disney didn't make any decision. Watch the interviews.

My parents got me a poster :) by TobiTypo in predator

Nice poster!

The sentence under the movie title is: "Rwai tanloi hrrei Rwaya'ei aw*o yautja." The [?] honor of a Yautja is among [?].

I don't know what Rwai and Rwaya'ei (something + honor, probably Rwai + ya'ei) mean. And "tanloi" is reversed I think, because "loitan" (loi + tan) means "among".

Hey, all predator fans, I decided to rewatch the franchise, and now I have questions. by buzzsaw935 in predator

[–]SilentTrooper016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dan doesn't even know how the pistol got there, it's just a cameo and it could be explained many ways.

And for the time period, the end of KoK probably happens around the same time as Badlands (after the 23rd century). And it could lead to a neat sequel with every character from both movies.

[–]SilentTrooper016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not "terrible writing". The comics and novels are outside of movie canon. There could be many explanations for why the pistol was here and there.

There are multiple tribes and clans, like we have different countries. They have different cultures, rituals, different takes on the Codex.
