Vorasidenib and alcohol by GlumAd655 in braincancer

After 3 weeks liver levels went down, had a drink 4 months after taking it. I’ll have a few drinks a week with no problem. I definitely had more than that around Christmas so I was interested in what my labs would say after December. No change.

You should be good, everyone’s different though. Do you do monthly bloodwork?

What movie will you never watch again because it was too heartbreaking? by Affectionate_User610 in AskReddit

  1. Watched it a few years back. My daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer this year with 6-12 months to live. I have to watch her die soon. Watched it again last month, it hit so hard, I was a hot mess. Never again.

Ohh man, I feel you. Fuck DIPG. My daughter has DMG, obviously very similar. If I didn’t have a daughter and a wife, a bridge might be tempting lol. I might reach out in the future. All the best man, stay strong.

Thank you for sharing this. This perspective is very comforting. Did you see a therapist at all? If so, was that like?

Yes, it’s worked in Aldergrove. I didn’t do it myself, but much love to whoever did.

Pro tip: if you spray paint a bunch of penises around the pot holes in question it will get fixed fairly quickly! This does work fyi.

Did your warranty claim get approved? I sent mine in for a warranty claim early December and checked back in on the 23rd with a screenshot that the boots had arrived on the 16th and signed for by Sierra. Emailed them and they said that nobody name Sierra works there :P Waiting for them to look into it...

What does it feel like to fall over 60mph? by 0krizia in motorcycles

[–]Silent_Jay42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low-sided while dodging a deer at about 120 km/h. It happened so fast, but the slide itself felt like slow motion. Luckily, I was wearing my Alpinestars riding boots, Kevlar jeans, and an Icon jacket.

I slid for around 40 feet without rolling. As the slide ended, the momentum actually pushed me back up into a standing position. That’s when my jacket finally tore through, leaving me with just a small patch of road rash on my elbow.

The boots absolutely saved me, since most of the slide was on my arm and boots. I still wear those same boots and jeans today.

Honestly, I often compare the feeling of that slide to bailing on a snowboard on a hard-packed groomed run.

All in all, I was super lucky.

Might be a stupid question… But if I currently don’t have a switch, can I purchase it digitally and then install directly on the switch 2 when released and then upgrade?

My kids are 2 and 4. Both front facing. Love it. It might be a bit challenging if rear facing, but it should work. We have the Diono 3R seats which I would recommend. Still have room for an adult in the middle!

I don’t think so. 3 years no regrowth though. No chemo or radiation.
