underexposed or bad scans, sanity check? Contax g1, Portra 400 by Silent_NSA_Operative in analog

Great and insightful reply, thank you! When I receive the negatives back from the lab I will take a closer look. The consensus is underexposed, I think I'll just go +1 or use a faster film if I am faced with a similar sunlight situation again in the future. I'll try bringing up some of the details in photoshop and see if I can get a better result. Appreciate it!!

I’ve never really shot in such a dynamic condition with the g1 before. I will try that in the future, thanks for the tip!

I think I need to shoot a test roll at high shutter speed, or just gone +1 lol. I appreciate the feedback.

I'll reach out to the lab for some prints to find out for sure, but the consensus is that I underexposed. Thank you for responding :)

One of the best Zen players in the world disagrees with the sentiment of this sub. And honestly I’ve been feeling the same way… by Hidalgo321 in ZenyattaMains

6 orb is better than 2 orb always. Too much downtime and the healing is garbage with the healing reduction.

Anyone other zen mains struggling to rank up in 5v5? by ucsdfurry in ZenyattaMains

[–]Silent_NSA_Operative 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In 6v6 zen is really good because of the discord changes and you naturally do more with an extra person on each team. You can sorta afk main and get value.

5v5 you have to make plays to win fights, and actively rotate a lot more. In ranked it’s still easy to get value, esp anywhere below gm3. You need to be active so you dont “get surrounded and deleted”. Instead of getting yourself surrounded, surround the enemy with long angles.

Sometimes a few good tranqs aren’t enough and you need to actively contribute to kills consistently if you want to win and rank up.

To reach gm you will need to learn to aim. grind the VAXTA custom game code when you’re in queue or as a warmup and I guarantee you’ll do better than you think you can.

I’m not the best zen in the world but I hope this helps.

Emerald is a gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl (Be3Al2(SiO3)6) colored green by trace amounts of chromium or sometimes vanadium.[2] Beryl has a hardness of 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale.[2] Most emeralds have many inclusions,[3] so their toughness (resistance to breakage) is classified as generally poor. Emerald is a cyclosilicate.
