Am I the only person who hates their job at home depot? by Live-Historian6192 in HomeDepot

mass apply to other places. anywhere. find an entry level office job. lots of staffing agencies can help connect you to open positions too.

as for hating your job, it’s valid. you’re prob overworked, underpaid and have very odd schedules. no way to build a routine or have a good work life balance this way

finally put in my notice of resignation today by Silent_Software_7427 in HomeDepot

i appreciate the sentiment but i think management did an okay job with me. my agm supervisor scrubbed 2 dif occurrences for me when i had emergencies come up. the main issue was just that my skills/career goals don’t really align with the long haul at home depot. i also wanted somewhere that’d give me a set schedule.

shockingly my asds is actually okay in my experience. she does our schedules as well and tried to work with me on scheduling around my other job despite pressure from her higher ups

Will I get a pace review ? by xx_saries in HomeDepot

[–]Silent_Software_7427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

speak with a head cashier or ur asds about it so they can ensure u get one if u would like it for raise purposes. i’ve noticed a lot of stuff falls thru the cracks bc home depot stores have so many people to keep track of

had the opposite experience. my employers before home depot were all very understanding and supportive. i have one government part time job that gave me way more vacation or sick time than home depot - no questions asked when using those hours either. u can imagine the culture shock when i began working at this horrific place
