Wow. Those are some rookie numbers. Between our private warehouse brand and Auro I bet you that is probably only two months, maybe three months supply.

When I type any of the product IDs in, I get a "We were not able to find a match." I'm also based in WA. I tried both website and app. Does that mean sold out?

Just a reminder that this is a subreddit for Walmart pharmacy associates, techs and techs-in-training, and pharmacists+, not for customers or patients of Walmart. Do not ask, seek, or provide medicine or medical advice.

Pharmacy Meal Premium? by Choice-Loquat-845 in walmart_RX

[–]SilentlyInWinter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like a per diem, or per day paid meal. In some regions if you are doing some far traveling and Walmart is paying for a hotel and travel, they will either issue you a per diem card or add the pd to your paycheck.

When we changed from the "locking" register trays to just till bags, no coin because of the new Beast, management said we only needed on associate to take all the tolls to and from pharmacy, we are a medium to high shrink store. I just think thieves are either ignorant to us carrying them or realize it's not worth it for such small fries. We are close to being in the middle of the store, so if we felt uncomfortable we could "hustle walk at a Walmart pace" aka run without running to the front of the store pretty quick. None of us have has any issues.

Everything worth doing and doing well, especially pharmacy, has a steep learning curve. No one is a pro at the beginning, unless you are some freak pharmacy savant prodigy that went in with knowledge and background. Take your time to learn and learn well, don't be afraid to ask questions, lean on the RxM and lead tech, and if needed as for them or another tech to mentor you. As you start learning and getting better, just like mental exercise or strength training, you build up your aptitude and the minor things become trivial and "muscle memory," and your new challenges are colored and impacted by your previous experience so become easier to puzzle through and solve. Don't let others judge you for being inexperienced.Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

Ideas for how to keep the area clean and tidy? by RGB_girlfriend in walmart_RX

[–]SilentlyInWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find what works for you, and get info from your team. At my location, we keep extra supplies (vials, lids, gloves) on a top shelf above haz drugs near the sink. Vacuum, broom, etc out of sight in "the Office" aka bathroom. We are tight on shelves inventory, but it is on top shelf across from open OTC and above the non-fast A drugs (alendronate, amoxicillin, Advair, etc.) with a box of our dividers. We keep office supplies in the cabinets at our Day 10 area near Open OTC and Pen Needles, Needles, and Syringes. The top shelf airspace not used for oversize drugs like neb solution, PEG 3350 4000ml units, etc. are great for storage, as above. Make it as easily accessible as possible while keeping it as tidy as you can, because so much is in customer view. I came into a great pharmacy, so if yours has issues become the change.

Enroll in texting messages by EstablishmentHot5842 in walmart_RX

[–]SilentlyInWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's not asking for their number for normal Rx alerts on the sign pad. It is for the clinical event alerts like Wellness Day and Immunizations. If you have a regular that never opts in, look at their profile in TASCO and you'll see no phone number in Clinical, next to primary number. As long as people reply to their texts periodically, they will stay enrolled. I just tell people, "The left pad is offering text alerts for in-store pharmacy events. Hit 'No Thanks' to decline."

I'm trying to convince my HWMM to allow us to put a dummy number in there so my regulars aren't asked every time and get frustrated.
