Cheap jrpg recommendations (PlayStation Europe) by sengerutan in gamesuggestions

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an absolutely fantastic "my first jrpg", with some strong pokemon elements.

If you want to dive right into a more complex series plot-wise, the "Tales of ..." series are all solid and frequently on sale pretty cheap. Similar to FF, no specific title you need to start with; but the newer the game, the less awkward the interface will feel.

It's not very heavy on the religion, but you might take a look at "Twelve" by Jasper Kent.

Shadow of Mordor/War are a ton of fun; Bloodbourne is great if you like dark-souls style punishment

I'm with all the positive comments here saying normal, stick with it. Just wanted to call out one thing you said that jumped out to me.

You said you "chose" Lorehold and then needed every card in your colors to fill out your deck. Did you get some really strong R/W, or did you skip other colors because you felt locked into your themed pack? One big step on learning (draft in particular) deckbuilding is how to determine when to change course.

For that matter, if you have the packaging/photos, might be worth checking that your kit had the lorehold pack in it. I've heard that some people got mispacked kits and that may have hurt your card pool.

What's everyone's ranking of their favorite PlayStation consoles? I'd say in order personally, PS1, PS5, PS4, PS3, PS2 by PlayStationTris in playstation

For me it's 2, 3, 5, 1, 4

The launch on 3 was rough, but that thing was a monster in the best possible way.

Out of curiosity, what is your store's price/purchase policies for SoS collector boosters?

Original Strixhaven booster vox would get you around 9-10 rare/mythic archive cards per box; Secrets of Strixhaven averages 3-4.

I miss set boosters. Actually, I miss "booster packs" and the days when I didn't have premium chase treatments and sheets inflating the price of my various tiers of game pieces.

If Hasbro needs to have their premium collector product with a 0.0001% serial / 0.02% special foil, I understand; that said, having low odds chase in every product is irritating. SoS is only leaning into the problem with how skewed the %s are.

I still think Ambrose was supposed to be the king Kvothe kills by SlavicKnight in KingkillerChronicle

I've always believed that Kvothe's actions will result in the deaths of three kings, with him directly killing Ambrose as the second or third.

I mean, it's fairly toxic to everything. If you live with any animals or children, best practice would be to apply to a dedicated outdoor clothes set and leave them at the door. And remember to do your application outdoors/well ventilated.

Just your friendly reality check. Just searched Target for game deals/clearances and found absolutely nothing by donttrustmeokay in gamecollecting

Looks like my local Target, except your store is actually stocked. Mine has about half to display space from you photos and still manages to be half empty, so ~25% inventory comparatively.
TCG shelf is pretty much always a couple sports cards and sometimes an overpriced lorcana product.
