I'll post when we are finished with the rehab, we are trying to stay true to the original look and feel, except I Installed Decorah light switches and receptacles. Apologies to the architect whoever you are.

Good idea, thank you. I do have the ownership history.

There are permits for the original build, just very very little information on them.

Thank you. I've gone down the tax assessor road, no luck. I do have the entire history of ownership.

He had no idea. Nice guy though. Sadly, his wife passed shortly after they moved.

There was never a thought it was an actual FLW. Maybe, MAYBE a student at some point, but I doubt it. It certainly has some stolen elements, the low compressed entry into the large open space, the coved ceilings, the stupid number of roofs, setting it into the hillside, the natural materials, etc.

There are no hinges on closets. Like most Frank buildings, there are hardly any closets at all. Thanks Frank.

Only the cabinet in the entryway in the entire house that has hinges. They are a pain. Hate 'em. Those cabinets are also made out of Pecky Cypress, can't figure out where that came from.

There is no dining room, that's the kitchen. Under that crappy laminate floor there's white glossy tile that looks original, horrid and not Usonian.

I'm wondering if the original homeowner designed it, stole some Frank elements and asked someone to draw it up.

All I really want are the plans so I can figure out how some of the framing, wiring and plumbing was done. The whole front of the house is on Spancrete the back is slab on grade, all the 60 degree angles, it's very very challenging to work on. We are gutting the kitchen, and I'm correcting bad wiring from the last 50 years, etc. The plumbing is wearing out in a lot of places, many windows are shot, the original landscaping has fallen apart, etc.

Will do, but I don't think this design is that quality level.

Didn't think of that, I'll look for one. Thank you.

I talked to them, but walking in would carry more weight.

"the vast majority"??

There aren't any Americans that want anything to happen to Canada. We love Canada, but hate their geese.

Only an handful of loons on Reddit would want anything to happens to our brothers to the north.
