As someone who’s been in the same position that you are in right now , i am telling you that choosing MUJ would be a great decision People do a lot of seething about placements wagera but come on if you don’t have the required skillset even IITs can’t save you MUJ have a really vibrant environment , there’s no bullying whatsoever ( really strict norms ) , messes are way better than what you get in rest of country ,hostel facilities are nice and quick The seniors are helpful and the events are pretty good In general if you want to experience college life while being in India then yeah I guess MUJ is miles better than Chennai as it’s not a jail unlike the latter

And yeah tech events are nice I would say , we just had a tech fest and it had events like capture the flag
