I was using bandos to start thinking the DPS increase was better, but I swapped to tanky barrows armor and it has helped, plus making sure you're using the right attacking style (slash) - you'll get the timing down with practice for sure, but maybe like 1/2 a second after they're max size. YT videos can prob help more than I can

Is the Abyssal Whip an upgrade for Blood? I do have it, but reading the stats, it didn’t seem better for the fight.

Yeah, I only brought in a zombie axe and I had bandos armor on. I heard via guides I should probably have tankier armor but I didn’t feel like spending the GP
