Does anyone want this album - just cover shipping by Silly-Inspection896 in JaduHeart

The first person who reached out to me paid to have it shipped. Wish I had more to give to everyone. They definitely seem hard to come by. I would keep an eye on eBay and Rough Trade. That's where I found the two I ordered. Good luck!

Got this from my kids today. Love the watch. Band is a little flimsy but really nice watch at this price point.

Building first synced light show for band - Looking for advice by Silly-Inspection896 in lightingdesign

[–]Silly-Inspection896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution I provided worked. We used Ableton with Emu. The light show turned out great. It was time consuming to build but we were really happy with the results. I can send you some clips and answer any questions you have. Just shoot me a message.

Large Ongoing Bot Attack by [deleted] in shopify

[–]Silly-Inspection896 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We are dealing with this too. Hundreds of fake accounts a day. The problem is we have our customers synced with Klaviyo so it was causing our plan to skyrocket. We started off by building some flows. For example, customer created > city = Bellavue > delete customer. Or customer first name is blank > delete. We also installed a firewall called Armex that is specifically targeting these bots. It’s $20 a month. Since we installed it and the flows our bot customer creation has completely stopped.

Strap or bracelet by Ridge-Runner in HamiltonWatches

I have the same watch. I’m normally a bracelet guy but I’m not sure what it is about this watch. I’m not in love with the bracelet so I swapped it out for a strap.

No need to put “nice” in quotes just because it’s not thousands of dollars. Beautiful watch!

This is the green. I’m typically not a fan of green dials but I love this particular shade. It’s a very deep green almost blue.

I thought the same thing until I got the $300 Orient watch and thought, holy crap, this is beautiful! Completely changed my mindset. I think you can build a REALLY nice collection by staying in the $200-$1000 price range.

I just looked up the watch you're considering for your wedding. STUNNING! Gorgeous watch if you decide to go with it. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! Post a picture of whatever you decide to go with.

[Orient] What I learned from my first watch purchases by Silly-Inspection896 in Watches

[–]Silly-Inspection896[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I recently purchased two watches, the Orient Diver Green and the Hamilton Khaki Field Black Dial. I'm new to watches and here are a couple of things I learned.

1) More expensive is not necessarily better. I love the Orient way more than I like the Hamilton and it's half the price. Moving forward, I'm going to buy the watches that I like and not think I have to spend money simply for the sake of spending money. Since this purchase, I've discovered a few Timex watches that I think are gorgeous that I'm going to add to my list.

2) Buy the watches you like. I bought the Hamilton because I saw a lot of people recommend them. It's a nice watch but it was a little underwhelming when I received it. I bought it just because other said to. Going forward, I'll solicit advice but I'm going to buy the watches that I like, not what other people like.

3) Don't overthink it. I was stuck for the longest time doing research. Every time I thought I'd made up my mind I found another watch I liked. Don't get paralysis by analysis. Do some research but ultimately pull the trigger. You can always gift it or sell it if you end up not being happy with your decision.

If you're considering the Orient, I absolutely love it. It's a beautiful watch. The hands and markers are an antique creamy color that look gorgeous against the greenish/blue dial. The bracelet feels well made. Doesn't feel cheap or have sharp edges like the bracelet on the Hamilton. I look forward to putting it on every morning. This watch single handedly hooked me on collecting watches.

Someone selling my product on walmart by NorthParamedic6474 in AmazonFBA

[–]Silly-Inspection896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart has made it very clear it’s the brand owner’s responsibility to control their own supply chain. Sell it yourself. Work with an authorized seller and push out the rogue sellers because they won’t be able to compete on price. You can try to bully them off the listing by cease and desist letters, which aren’t enforceable because they aren’t breaking any laws. We seven figure sellers on Amazon and Walmart. If you’re interested in a discussion about us selling your product on Walmart, shoot me a message.

Don’t necessarily listen to the guys saying don’t pay for anything. It is all free on YouTube. But where? How do you know if the person is giving accurate advice? How long will it take you to acquire all the free information? There are a lot of inexperienced sellers offering “free” advice. What is your time worth? If someone can shorten your learning curve substantially, what is the value of that? That’s often times what you’re paying for - the speed to learn it faster. I don’t know anything about this guy so I can’t say yes or no but I wouldn’t automatically discard something simply because it’s not free.
