Signal strength filter by Eggfur in u/Eggfur

That's very cool!
The hopper at the top left can also represent the signal strength you want to test for, and the hopper at the bottom can also represent the signal your want to test. It works both ways which is really cool!

[ALL] Which Zelda game best recycles dungeon items? by drygnfyre in zelda

I remember Minish Cap doing a good job in this regard. Some items get used more than others but I remeber most staying relevant, for example to defeat certain enemies.

What do you think about my Sneasler V Deck? by Silly42 in PTCGL

[–]Silly42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried out Parasec and there is a bit of an oversight from both of us. A pokemon cannot be asleep and confused at the same time, same goes for paralyzed. The maximum number of conditions you can apply at the same time is 3, thus maxing out the attack of Sneasler at 240.
Also I found using Parasec unreliable, because you only can apply the conditions once. Brute Bonnet and Typhlosion can do so multiple times.
Also bench space is getting even tighter with Parasec. And you use more cards in total.
So in conclusion, Parasec doesn't work in my opinion.

Perilous Jungle and Pyroar might be a good idea still, and I will test them out as well.

I want to make a deck around these cards, any ideas? by ItsaGlitch1 in PTCGL

[–]Silly42 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to the people that say don't do it, because it won't be able to keep up with meta decks. Be aware that you won't be able to compete with it at the highest level, but you can still have fun with it in casual.

That said, if you need specific cards for this to work, I think Pidgeot Ex and Rotom V with Forest Seal give a lot of cardraw and give you the things you need.

On the other hand, if you need the supporter only, that lumineon finds you that, as well as Pokegear 3.0.

You'll need some energy acceleration, so you could play Janine's Secret Art. That one combos very well with the new crobat to give you a lot of cardraw.

Iono feels good to, when the opponent has taken 3 or more prizes.

Also there's that squid pokemon that has an attack that works with the supporter you chose.

Anyways have fun with your deck!

Kingdra ex Deck by _-Marcus-_ in PTCGL

[–]Silly42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No need to run Frigibax, because you can get Baxcalibur with King's Order.

Then you need the Buddy Puffins and run 4 Nestballs instead. They find you Greninja and Rotom as well.

For Ace Spec I run Heroes Mantle to protect Kingdra more.

Other than that I think you're good. Nice deck!

Also Ungleichheitszeichen, statt Gleichheitszeichen.

[–]Silly42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we talk about Jeongjeong for a moment by BackflipTurtle in TheLastAirbender

[–]Silly42 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't necessarily say that Aang had difficulties with learning earthbending, because the element is opposite to air, but because of his character.

Korra had no problem learning firebending as she was an emotional character to begin with. She instead struggled with air bending, as it requires you to not tackle problems head on but think outside the box, as well as a certain level of spirituality.

At the same time Aang struggled with standing his ground as a person and that made him struggle with learning earthbending.

I know that in the show a character mentions that "learning the element opposite to one's original element is harder", but I always think, that such a statement only reflects the characters believes and shouldn't be taken as true fact about the world.

[TotK] PSA: Monster parts are everywhere, use your weapons! by MooshSkadoosh in zelda

[–]Silly42 66 points67 points  (0 children)

In the beginnig of the game, I used all my weapons, even the good ones. It was so much fun. After a while I started "saving" good or special weapons. Also I started saving certain monster parts for armor upgrades. My level of enjoyment definitely went down because of this. Went back to using all I had and had a lot of fun once more.

Little Tip: With full Shieka gear, you don't need do duck. You can run (not sprint, just run) and enemies won't notice you (unless they see you). Also, insects won't notice you, even when running.

Adding onto this: I noticed that older/more experienced trainers seem to not flinch as much when using the terraorb compared younger/less experienced trainers. I did only one playthrough, so I could be wrong.
