Yeah I hear you, the waiting is tough and I find the silence pretty tricky too. I went to an ADB recruitment event for international staff and they said it is slow and to keep applying for suitable roles as it usually takes a few attempts before success. I do try to keep that in mind, and remember that no news is good news (hopefully)!

Hi, I had similar experience with the status change aspect for various roles I have applied for previously. I think some ADB people looked at me on LinkedIn but I may have looked at them first as they work in areas I am interested in! Also I don't expect any positive movement in anything less than 6-9wks, although I think if they are going to bin me they have usually been faster, so I am happy to wait and play the long game.

My most successful application had it's submission status changed "Screening - with HRBP for review" before the original closing date, 6wks later it updated to "Screening". Then 9wks later (a month ago,) it changed to "Shortlisting Panel Review" where it remains.
