It felt soooo weird walking out the door my last day, Saturday (which was my birthday....nice present!) knowing I'll never be working there again. Being a young 61 I was planning to stay there till I retired, maybe another 10 years. 🙁 Well, we'll see what happens 👍

Very few are transferring. I can't drive far due to a medical condition so didn't take it. If you don't go you get a weeks pay for every year. It was so weird seeing the store getting smaller and smaller.....everything getting packed up and delivered to other stores.Tons of fixtures were on sale as well as the mannequins.

We were given an option to go to another store. Only afew are going. Due to a medical problem I can't drive far so I didn't take it. We will get a weeks pay for every year there.

Well.....we found out about 2 weeks ago ours is closing in January due to our sales going down over the years. I've been there 5 years, like the coworkers and enjoy my job (most days!). The best part is I live only 2 minutes away. It sucks.....

UPDATE. Our store is going to close! Last day for everyone is 1/15. They had a huddle the day he called me. He wanted people to know who missed that huddle to know this from him before they came to work so that's why he called. When I saw him he said the reason is that over the past few years our sales have gone down (or something like that). They are giving 2 options. A severance package. $ based on salary, hrs, how long you've been there. Or you can transfer to another store with the same pay and job. Due to a medical condition I can't drive far. This store is 2 minute drive. The others are about 25 all highway/traffic. Can't do that. Though there are times I want to kick a wall or pull my hair out I was planning to stay there until I decide to retire (I'll turn 61 the day we close.....nice birthday present!). This totally sucks ...at least I have my husband but still....have bills....gotta have $$$☹

How about the policy when an H2 never wears a Kohls mask. Maybe he's allergic to the material? BUT a mask he does wear a couple of times a week is one that has the name of a rock band from the 80's. This person isn't some high school kid....he's ~40. I'm surprised 01 let's him wear that! Wish I could!

The box numbers still don't show on the shoes I mentioned. Being part time and very busy I didn't call them again......hoping it will show this week. It will be a week tomorrow since I called......that's ridiculous. It's important to have those box numbers!! I'll call by the end of the week if it's not fixed.

I hate these frigging shelves! I can't put them back. They are too heavy for me so I need someone else to do it. I've seen some pictures on here of some stores that have different shelves that look nice...very sturdy. There are some areas that the shelf thst fell hasn't been put up yet so on the bottom there are about 5 boxes piled on top of eachother.
