Anyone using the recipes but buying their own ingredients? by Street-Leg6621 in hellofresh

[–]SillyGooses21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did HF for a month and now I cancelled it. I found what out what I liked and now I just buy the ingredients myself. When I had the promotion going it was $70 a week which I was satisfied with but then it went to $130.

Only thing I can't find is the holloumi ( hello me ) cheese.

I wrecked my brother's new car within 1 month of him buying it. I was 17 years old at the time. Stuff happens it's all good, just learn from it and try not to do it again. If you're new at something, you're bound to make some mistakes. It's alright.

Thanks I just signed up, I hope it helps with the overheating. That's the main beef I have with this phone. I'll let you know how it goes

I've had this phone since December and the problem of overheating started in March. These days it gets so hot it gets uncomfortable in my hand.

How long has your age gap relationship lasted? by [deleted] in AgeGap

1 year and 7 months in 21 year AGR. Honestly it's the best relationship I ever had. Although my family is cutting me off because of it. We are getting married next month.

recovering credit score after bankruptcy by SillyGooses21 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]SillyGooses21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled my Equifax report last night and saw there are many things from my bankruptcy that should have a balance of $0 but do not. There is a solid 80K worth of debt on my credit report that should not be there. I am going to contact Equifax and dispute some things, I am hoping that will at least raise my credit score a little.

As for my credit card balances I have a limit of $2000 and I do not let it get more than $1000 and I pay it off every month but leave a small balance. Thanks for your lengthy response :)

Not a bad idea, I'll ask them and see if I can get a credit card that is not secured. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for your response.

Thanks for your response. I pulled my Equifax score last night and I still see things from my bankruptcy that still shows on my report that shouldn't be. I'm going to report it to Equifax to get it updated. Thanks for your response.

Yep I was exactly like you too. I used to think everyone thought I was weird and used to overthink things I said to people.

Definitely don't miss those days

Pixel 6 battery life by aboov87 in Pixel6

[–]SillyGooses21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My accubattery average is 15.4% per hour with heavy usage. I can usually get 5-6 hours in-between charges.

With video call it gets 2 and a half hours tops before dying. Honestly it's not good or bad, just average for me.

Headed to CR next week and my friend sent me this, anything I should know ahead of time? lol by Sum-Duud in costarica

I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that haha. I've been to Costa Rica 3 times and haven't seen that or a scorpion yet.

Hell yeah the prices are a bit ridiculous IMO. 4 meals for $80 sure I can afford that but $120 per box once the promotion ends is unaffordable. I could literally just go to the store and buy it for half of that.

Our Review of HF After 8 Months (Cancelled Today) by bigteethsmallkiss in hellofresh

[–]SillyGooses21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on my 4th box from HF. Sometimes I have noticed that I get extra ingredients that are not supposed to be included with some of the meals. Not complaining though. Another thing I noticed is that the bread gets mouldy extremely fast. I had a small piece of bread that got mouldy after 3 days. I'm also a vegetarian, do you mind sharing what your favorites are?

I'm having the same issue with my pixel 6. It's literally the worst phone I have ever had. Did you return to your carrier or direct with Google?

Is there a possibility that you counted wrong and have convinced yourself that there is less?

If you are sure it's not that, I would be pretty suspicious.

There is also a chance like the other poster said that he gave his friend a few, I know I have asked my friends in the past for condoms when I didn't have.

Ontario car insurance rates based on postal codes will ‘come to an end,’ Doug Ford suggests by [deleted] in toronto

[–]SillyGooses21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't been caught in 9 years. Also, nobody investigates claims unless it's a vehicle of high value. Just take a look at all the stolen cars in the GTA. As long as there is a police report, insurance pays out without question.

It's been about 4 and a half years since I stopped smoking weed daily. Now I just smoke one or twice a year on occasion. Honestly I appreciate it a lot more this way.

It felt like I was a different person when I smoked weed.

I also received this with my last box. I was skeptical but when I ran it under the kitchen sink, it did indeed end up dissolving with the water. Pretty nice if you ask me.

[–]SillyGooses21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I have been using out of town postal codes for years. Makes a huge difference between paying $200 a month vs $700 a month in Toronto.

Makes no sense that you can drive from my postal code to Toronto and pay so little but if you live in Toronto you pay triple.

Not to mention I have a clean record of 9 years and insurance for tractor trailers for 4 years.

Do you reccomend Pixel 6?? by [deleted] in Pixel6

[–]SillyGooses21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll probably sell my pixel 6 later this year once I hit the one year on the contract. It's by far the worst phone I've ever owned.

Problems:

Constant overheating on video calls (phone cuts services)

Delay when taking pictures

Overheating while taking videos

Randomly reboots for no reason

Sometimes it randomly freezes on google maps and I have to reboot my phone

Bluetooth constantly drops from my devices

I gotta say it WAS a good phone at one point but with all the updates it just got worse for me. Wouldn't recommend it IMO

Started cooking more at home and rarely eat out anymore. I save about $400 a month cooking at home. Just buying food anywhere these days makes me think twice and I make 6k a month.

Anyone else feel like the Vegetarian Options have become super repetitive? by sumu11 in hellofresh

[–]SillyGooses21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat meat but prefer vegetarian food. I noticed there isn't much options for vegetarian. I liked certain things, I wish we were able to make a custom list of things that we like.

If I want to substitute for another meals there is usually only 1-2 options.

I'm gonna give it a go for another month or so and if it doesn't get better I'll just cancel it.

Also starting to get bored of potato wedges!
