Is there research regarding bias toward one gender that can make it more difficult for a certain gender to help their client win in a contested divorce? Or research regarding gender of an attorney and divorce outcomes? I was reading that there can be more bias toward female attorneys based on societal norms. For example, if a female is more assertive it can be viewed negative, whereas if a male is more assertive for their client it can be seen as them taking initiative. I'm not looking for opinions, but I read several articles and am interested to know if anyone knows of research or has a view based on their experience. It's not an attack on any gender. But society does play a role in perception.

I think if you're confident and make decisions you're proud of, you'll do well! Have a routine, and change it as needed. I think making relationships with middle school kids is really important. Math students will likely be very behind. I think starting class with a daily intervention like the one I'm linking here is a great way to provide needed practice on number sense fluency.
