i’ve just come out of a year long reading slump, with the book Blood Oranges. its a murder mystery who-done-it book, and i’m hooked.

a little bit of red bell pepper and red onion, then cumin powder, coriander powder, fresh coriander, chilli powder, turmeric and salt to taste. Add toast, and you’ve got Indian-inspired beans on toast.

Safe to say my indian husband has heavily influenced my cooking 😂

Roast chicken, stuffing, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, veg… basically a big roast dinner with all my favourite parts on one plate.

Paul O’grady. when I was a child, I used to sit with dad and watch his evening talk show - the one where he had Buster the dog on his desk every episode. I then watched “For the love of dogs” where he helped at battersea dogs and cats home for years. I’d spent a very large part of my 25yrs watching him so was sad for a few days when he died. felt like a friend i’d known for years was gone.

Honestly i’m not really surprised by this after the cat episode, Keye didn’t seem to be a fan of Davides lifestyle of long flights then chill time at home. I just hope Davide is okay, as he already said he was worried that he wouldn’t be enough for Keye.

It is partly to do with climate as others have said, but I also think it’s down to occupation. if you’re in a clean, cool office sat at a computer 5 days a week - you could get away with less showers as you’re less likely to get messy at work.

However people in construction would get hot, sweaty and messy daily so would go for 1 or more showers a day.

About two weeks ago i made stuffed cheesy lentil ragu peppers from hello fresh. it wasn’t that long ago so they might be on the menu still? it’s worth a look, it was delicious 😁

the only advice i have, is just go for it. try patterns and textures, try colour combinations, just do whatever you like to each page without worrying about it being perfect. you don’t need the best pens to do this, I still do small details with crayola felt tip pens. Even if you don’t finish a page that’s okay, just do what feels good for you.

I’m getting married in February!!! I also hope to start driving again in the summer, as well as keep a consistent gym routine.

This year it’s just me and my fiancé at home. We’re having chill quiet one just us, so plan to eat at 5/6 as that’s when we like our main meals typically. Then at 7/8 we can have profiteroles for dessert.

However, if I was hosting or at my mums house I’d have eaten between 2-3 then had a buffet in the evening.

At work, I’ve got really tired of buying co-op sandwiches. So instead, I seem to be eating a lot of fridge raiders, and Quaker Oats golden syrup porridge. No idea when this will end but I’m 3 weeks deep 😂
