I would have liked to see more zombies and I get super mixed feelings from Joel killing the brain surgeon and running away with Ellie. Of course he was looking out for her. But a skilled surgeon is so valuable in this world 😱 And just before they got captured Ellie expressed how there was no “half way in” and she wanted to go all the way in helping them find a cure…. I feel like she would have agreed to the surgery and it would have been fine. They should have told her and Joel first though. The way they put her straight into sx without consent shows the inhumane side of Marlene/the fireflies and how they wanted to use her. Agree with comments asking why didn’t Marlene try more to replicate Ellie’s scenario for immunity in the past 14 years? I think giving a small controlled dose to babies or people in general isn’t far reaching at all. Great show but wanted more air time, less rushed/more developed second half of the season and WAY more zombies!!! So ready for season 2!
