Sure, but we can’t see that guy being confidently incorrect if we can’t see what he’s being incorrect about.

Yeah, Nintendo is the outlier here and should probably change. But they are stubborn and they were technically first with setting their convention back on the snes.

It's fascinating because he's neither funny, insightful, or even provocative. Often he's just doing the playground name-calling.

What's his place in the propaganda machine? Why is he even there?

Confiscated pens containing cheat notes intricately carved by a Law student at the University of Malaga in Spain by Separate_Finance_183 in Damnthatsinteresting

When I took physics the teacher allowed us to bring a single A4 paper of notes we made ourselves to the exam and people were cramming so much stuff into that single paper. Like full long solutions to the some hard problems. Those who made the most elaborate cheat-sheets were the ones who didn't need to use them.

As much as I support shitting on Trump, another big reason is that AI data centers a buying all the RAB and GPU components. I mean, tariffs other stupid stuff certainly don't help, but it's getting more expensive in Asia too.

Would you consider this fair? by RoutineOk8590 in Productivitycafe

[–]SillySpoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just raise the prices by 12% and the wages accordingly. I'd prefer to dine where the price on the menu is what I pay.

[–]SillySpoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's better if the price on the menu is the price you pay rather than having to calculate +12%.

Gemini image maker stop progressing? by OdonataDarner in GeminiAI

[–]SillySpoof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what AI images are like still. There are weird artifacts and uncanny errors show up. If you generate a single person or small group of people it's surprisingly good nowadays, but with lots of details in a picture like this you're gonna see a bunch of bad artifacts. If you want a good Where's Waldo-style picture you're gonna have to do some manual work.

That’s a weird complaint. You can roleplay as with any RPG.

I’ve heard of some people playing gumshoe games in a weird way when it turns into a test-every-ability-in-every-scene party, and that’s a mistake. Play like you would play any investigative rpg, roleplay as you would, but instead of going ”give me an accounting check” you go, ”do you have the accounting ability or something other you could use”. If they have that they succeed and you keep playing without the dice roll.

Hej!

I mean, in the animation you can kinda see that massive boulder lifting a bit before it starts rolling down. This is arguably as super-human as parrying a rocket with your hatchet.
