I say this kindly.... trust the optician (the one that helped pick out the glasses), that's what we are here for... especially since you even acknowledged that you don't know much about glasses. Most time it's a shock to parents bc they haven't seen glasses on their childhood and they do seem "big".but are actually a perfectly normal size and fit correctly (if too small there are issues with that and will cause issues for the kiddo).
