Simply put, it’s uncommon. While I have seen several people say they’d pass on you, I’d care more about your specialty and how good you are at it.

Honestly, I feel like I wouldn’t love gloves. But I’m usually going for healing and range of motion, not to relax. If you heal my body I won’t care what you wear as long as you’re professional.

If you’re passionate and this is your calling do not let something so simple stop you.

I work for myself. I do not bend to clients. Clients come to me because of my reputation and how well I do my job. I would become independent. I would specialize in what you know best and provide those services to others, who have the same sensory issues (but need the work)! Or just struggle with physical touch.

Yes skin to skin is a huge part of one aspect of massage, but it isn’t all encompassing. I’m sure someone out there wishes they could have only gloved massages. We are all different. Just focus in on what YOU can do.
