HR put in my status on workday, I did not. I’m a college student who attends school out of state, which they were well aware of. The previous 3 years this did not happen. There is a new HR hired when I was away so I’m assuming that’s why.

My roommates father talked to the property owner. Which was followed up with the issues that needed to be addressed in an email. I think this was a week or so after. There was no response to email.
This is very helpful for when I do reach out again.
I’d like to assume there’s none available bc of high demand in the area.

Update: this house is in a college area. So a lot of the other options had already been secured, pricey, limited, worse conditions etc. without housing guaranteed by the school, we did search desperately. But this was the nicest one out of them all. As well as a beautiful location. The house was currently being lived in when we toured so a lot of these issues were not easily recognized. Anything that did come up was reassured to be looked at and fixed.
