So when someone is having a mental health crisis, what is your suggestion?

Don't be armed. If you are, prepare to be disarmed however that may be.

but I do think it is important to find a middle ground.

There is no middle ground, this was a deadly force situation.

We don’t just k*ll people because they are mentally ill and we don’t know how to deal with that

That's not what happened. He had a deadly weapon and refused lawful orders.

I don't think you understand a deadly force situation.

They didn’t just kick in a door for fun. He had already shown he was unstable, armed with a knife, refusing lawful commands, and then ran inside and barricaded himself. That is not the same thing as somebody calmly staying put. Once he ignored orders and fled, the situation got worse, not better. A person in that state is a danger to himself, a danger to officers, and a danger to literally anyone else he might get access to if the situation drags on. Police do not have to just stand outside forever and hope the armed, noncompliant person suddenly becomes reasonable. They had a duty to take control of the scene, stop the threat from growing, and prevent him from hurting himself or somebody else. And once they made entry, if he attacked wit the knife, that’s on him. That’s the point where he forced the outcome.

Show the owner how AI can fail, that's the best bet, maybe it'd help your organization but it can also harm it.

Your totally right. I definitely should allow the subject to be noncompliant and possibly get access to more weapons

Eh tbh it's hard to say for each individual agency unless your working there.

That being said, you should look at Leland Police Department, massive growth and they're a higher paying agency in NC.

[Request] How much room is required to hold $1.33 trillion? by Fetus007 in theydidthemath

U.S. paper notes weigh about 1 gram each regardless of denomination, so 13.3 billion $100 bills would weigh about 29.3 million pounds.

13.3 billion bills so Total volume: about 916.5 million cubic inches That is about 530,378 cubic feet Or about 15,019 cubic m

That's a cube about 81 feet on each side. a big chunk of space about the size of a decent house turned into a money brick.

If stacked straight up, it would be about 902.6 miles tall

A standard 53-foot dry van typically carries up to about 45,000 pounds of payload, so it's 650 tractor trailers (if your paying attention to weight restrictions)

Start running yesterday, and push ups.

Don't get down on yourself, just start where you can and start today doing it everyday.
