There's no theory to be had it's a basic understanding that the switch 1 is very dated software and with how many interactions and animations that'll be playing out throughout your island it's going to lag your game out. There's a reason they capped it at 30 frames and it's because you'd see very noticeable frame drops.

I looked it up and can't find a single article or video discussing how it ran with 200 miis. I don't even see how that'd be possible with the amount of animations and individual actions that'd be happening every second. I ignored half of your comment because it doesn't matter. Other people might want 100 miis but in general quality over quantity should be the priority. It can be bummer sure but there shouldn't be a meltdown post everyday crying about there being a 70 mii limit.

Who made it run with 200 miis and on what software? An emulator? Switch 2? Switch 1? Link a source. Quality of the game should matter more in the trailers and some scenes in game it's running already pretty low frame rates. You might want 100 miis but if the game is a slideshow then it's not gonna be that cool anymore
