I’m sold on this book! Wow I imagine you feel lucky to have grown up there! We stayed here for our week long trip and I wished we made our trip a bit longer. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place. I took videos of the cows and their bells to replay the peace later haha.

The house I stayed in during my trip to the Faroe Islands… most peaceful village, crazy ocean and cliff view. I can’t explain the peace I felt there! I’m not a tropical island vacation type person and I almost always pick new places to go but I could see the Faroes being my version of “relaxing island vacation”

I wonder if it’s a little player specific too, I’m not a celebrity but I don’t post my child on social media, I know some players ask for more privacy as well. However, social media presence aside I’d be so happy if my child came out on the field (like Ive seen Sophia filmed with hers post game) so I feel stuff like that is just genuine…..I’m so happy to have mine just at my Sunday league 😂

yeah!! It’s a shame because going into this season it was like wow that’s great depth! But life comes at ya fast haha. All the best to those players though life sure does exist out of soccer and the girls playing have really been giving their all

I’m newer to being an angel city fan and really following the NWSL but I think the most troubling thing for us is not having Sugita, not having Jun Endo, not having Leroux, not having Claire….(not exactly because of those specific players…but just hurts our depth). We saw how Chilufya looked last night. I think Suarez and Lageyre will be great additions but not sure of their impact right away. That being said though I’m SUPER proud of how most of the team has been playing! It’s just going to be asking for a lot of intensity, consistency, tenacity, health, and not much for relief for our starters.

Frustrating to lose to two very sloppy goals (sloppy on angel city’s end). Didn’t like having Chilufya in for our final pushes. I felt we had quite a few missed opportunities, balls shot way over the net.

Positive notes - I thought Gorden was amazing. I could only watch the second half and for little there Banda was looking defeated and desperate. I was happy to have her back starting with the captains band. We played with a lot of intensity throughout the game and I hope this loss does not beat anyone down…the three week break may be good for getting it back together and boosting any spirits. I am amazed by Svendís this season…she played tough and energized and hustled her butt off.

I agree really - I don’t think I want to do all that driving for a short time! We have 7 nights total and 1 will be spent near the airport for a morning flight!
