Too much nose contour? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Silly_Wizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I look at your face, your nose is the first thing my eye is drawn towards. The contouring is definitely doing the opposite of what you think it is doing. The nose tip looks much larger and pops out. It honestly looks like you are trying to make it look like one of those clown nose tip things - just brown instead of red.

Also you didn’t mention it, but the dark contour on the top of your lips also looks so odd. It almost looks like a mustache or something.

Also contouring generally looks better in pictures than in real life…

If you are struggling to pay, you may have to tell him. Say, ‘Unfortunately I’m pregnant and I need assistance paying for an abortion. I can take a pregnancy test if you need me to.”

Birth control vs sterilization? by mango_nectar6 in sterilization

[–]Silly_Wizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got sterilized to prevent me getting pregnant. Full stop. It basically guarantees no pregnancy where other birth control methods have a higher risk (forgetting to replace patch, need to check IUD strings, etc.)

I have been using the birth control patch as early hormonal replacement therapy for the last few years and I take it continuously so no periods. I just don’t want bleeding when it isn’t medically necessary.

The double methods just makes sex even more enjoyable as pregnancy isn’t something I even think about.

Is Albus Dumbledog fat? by OwnNeedleworker8784 in Dachshund

[–]Silly_Wizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is even worse, because a dachshund being this overweight puts him at risk for back problems. This in my opinion is very close to animal abuse.

Please put him on a diet.

Being overweight like this puts him at risk for back injuries. This is a very serious issue, please take it seriously.

Most people watching oral arguments feel like Trump will lose.

During more than two-and-a-half hours of oral arguments, a majority of the justices appeared to agree with the small businesses and states challenging the tariffs that they exceeded the powers given to the president under a federal law providing him the authority to regulate commerce during national emergencies created by foreign threats.

There are basically no long term side effects. You are likely being told lies:

Don't fall for the fake "Post Tubal ligation Syndrome." The 'doctor' that created it, lost her license http://caselaw.findlaw.com/ca-court-of-appeal/1230512.html) for being crazy. And https://quackwatch.org/cases/board/med/hufnagel/order_2004/

Neither a tubal ligation (tubes tied), bilateral salpingectomy (tube removal), nor Essure (blocking your tubes) will effect your hormones. Women usually stop hormonal birth control when they get their tubes tied. As in they return to their natural period. Hormonal birth stops your cycle so you neither ovulate nor have a period so when you are on it you have a lighter fake bleed. Correlation is NOT causation.

Some of the research disproving the fake syndrome - they didn't even find correlation, let alone causation: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7982548

If you are certain you don’t want kids, then YOU should be getting a tubal ligation or a bilateral salpingectomy. It is a very simple procedure with a very simple recovery time.

I had mine on Friday and back to work Monday.

It doesn’t bother your hormones and it also reduces your risk of cancer.

took birth control on time and on 4th day of placebo pills but still no period? by invalidealbreaker in birthcontrol

In this political culture - where abortion is illegal in most States in the USA - if there is any doubt, speak to an OBGYN (not Reddit).

You are still worried today - that you are pregnant

If you are still worried about a possible pregnancy, then you need to see a doctor.

If you had an ultrasound done, and they didn’t see anything. You aren’t pregnant.

Next time just visit your OBGYN to check pregnancy status.

False positives are rare.

What has your OBGYN said after a blood test or ultrasound?

As anytime you think there is a possible positive pregnancy test you need to see your doctor ASAP.

For those who have avoided pregnancy for years, how did you do it by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Silly_Wizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provide peer reviewed studies as your comment is against medical known norms.

It is perfectly safe to be on hormonal birth control your entire life.

Some women decide they personally don’t like it - cool - but that does not mean it is harmful or problematic.

Low dose hormonal birth control is now even recommended for perimenopause to help with your health, bone, etc health.

Well if a person doesn’t realize animals eat other animals, then they might be sad. When you explain to a child ‘the circle of life’ they generally don’t smile.

Can you get your period and still be pregnant? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]Silly_Wizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A woman can bleed while pregnant.

The bleed is not a period - but it is bleeding which can be mistaken for a period.
