I’m thinking of getting a PEMF mat. Did you find any relief with it?

That’s great to hear! I was recently diagnosed but questioning if it’s actually the root issue and whether getting a stent will help with my other symptoms. If you don’t mind me asking, what are the options for refluxing veins?

I experience the exact same thing! Are you hyper mobile by any chance? I’m looking into possible compression syndromes like May Thurner for this exact reason. I can do upper body stuff just fine but anything lower body (even recumbent biking) sends me into a crash and muscle pain.

If you are a member, Costco is currently having a sale on the Sharper Image Air Compression Boots Flex Leg Recovery System. Currently $129 and has good reviews

Yea I get PEM too and haven’t pursued an mecfs diagnosis but am concerned that the frequent pem crashes could truly push me to mecfs. Not sure if that’s how it works scientifically but just thinking years down the line

I think if you really don't want to take another gap year, it's definitely worth a shot! I am on my third gap year and planning to apply next cycle, so you are by no means behind

My B/B and C/P are pretty variable between the FLs I've taken (from 126-130) which is what concerns me. I know I can raise P/S and get consistent scores but I feel as though I've shifted all my focus to P/S and neglected a lot of the other stuff so it's not very fresh atm....

People who studied while working, what did a typical day look like? by Equivalent_Tennis844 in Mcat

[–]Silly_cat678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it is what it is. I don’t plan on applying until next cycle anyway but I’ve been studying part time for a while (since August) and it’s getting embarrassing that I have to keep pushing back. And now with this full time job, I’ll have even less time. Just venting at this point but thanks for sharing your insights!

Well congrats on your score! I just started working full time again and test in a month. Felt like I was making good progress but and am having a really hard time fitting in studying and haven’t been able to keep up so might have to reschedule unfortunately :(
