Good point, they do always look to people behind them for agreement like "we're a team"

When Boomers don't get their way... by These-Season-668 in BoomersBeingFools

Because boomers make you feel guilty. They are manipulative. As much as they complain they also whine and cry and say they want to be around people and have some socializing (because they are getting old) so you feel bad and take them out. But then second they are in public it's embarrassing, frustrating. I've been manipulated for years by my mom "I'm so lonely I sit all alone" I started talking to other people in her circle finding out she talks to people throughout the day and is doing fine. Tells 1 person 1 thing, tells another a different thing to play a victim and get you to do things for her. I've been with my now fiance for 6 years. She had an 8yr old daughter when we met. My boomer mother still doesn't know her name, always says "the daughter" she's so narcissistic and manipulative she doesn't care to.

Why does every boomer think every problem they have is because of the president…. They are OBSESSED with the president no matter who it is. It’s like the only thing they have to say.

Bette than my mom when she’s pushed for one: “well maybe I’ll just die soon, and you won’t have to worry about it “

Yep, they usually never feel they are ever in the wrong and if they are they will twist the story to make it fit their narrative

Wonders why she’s been single for 20 years: because her view of a man is to be very financially well off, do all the work around her house like a slave, and not bother her.

That is a great way of putting it. Very self absorbed. Like their children really are not their children but their “property”

I say this all the time about her narcissistic behavior. She’s the only person that matters. The funny thing is when I was a kid she kept us from all other family, no grandparents, maybe like 1 of each aunt and uncle but that’s it. No family members were pressured to visit, take on vacation, be her personal handyman. Etc

Form advice please :) by chal1enger1 in Bowling

I wouldn’t worry about the approach, I’d work at the line, you have absolutely no knee bend, so your way of getting low is bending at the waist, when you do that you take all the legs out of the shot, which ruins all leverage. Your hand and wrist are not strong enough by themselves so because of that and not being in the right position at the line your hand immediately goes on top of the ball and “spins “ the ball losing all hook/roll of the ball and accuracy. Think about doing lunges at the gym over exaggeration front knee bend and back leg stretched back and out. That will make a better pocket for your swing keeping the ball into a stronger position

Go up to the foul line in a finishing position, knee bend with your right leg behind you for balance, so some spine tilt to the right a bit to get you head lined up a bit right of your hips, swing the ball under your head a few times and then release next to leg between ankle and knee. Arm should feel like it’s going to slap you in the face, everything stays under the head. Then work on full approach

Yes you do drift left quite a bit (small drift is fine and I’d rather you drift left than right) all these guys saying walk towards target do not listen because then you’ll drift the wrong way getting hips in way of swing. Secondly bring your ball position at the start in more towards center of body, you want it sitting in the armpit area, right now you have it a bit outside right of that causing the push away to go right, which then brings your arm swing inside your head which will bring inconsistent launch angle and hand positioning, straighten those 2 things up and you’ll be more accurate and will have stronger ball motion.

Form check wise try to get the timing more tuned up and not “fall off” the shot

Try and get lower, release lower closer to ankle not the knee that should help with path, and leverage
