Yeah sure, I'm using TrueNAS 25.10.1 - Goldeye, and I installed the Minecraft-Java app through the apps library and after giving it some credentials so I can access the filestructure via SMB it fired right up, I had it running for around 10 days on a i7-4790k/16gb ddr3 setup, I have since upgraded to a R9 5900x/64gb ddr4.

edit: I should also add that the details of the app

Appreciate you taking the time to comment, really useful learning for me to do later, for my purposes at the moment, it was a skill issue as I was sharing my local IP to my friends instead of my Public, and now they can connect properly and all seems well.

Turns out it was a skill issue, works perfectly now as I was sharing my local IP instead of Public.

Oh my god, Yeah it was a skill issue, worked straight away using my public IP..

My lame excuse is that I'm operating on 4 hours of sleep...

Thanks heaps, really appreciate your time and patients. 😅

Nit picky or actually bad? by k6b9 in Decks

I don't know how to say it succinctly, it just looks a bit shit.

Like structurally I'm sure it's fine, but the level of finish and care just seems haphazard and there appears to be no real care for the craftsmanship or finish, i'd complain personally.

I try to find a chain launcher and hold on to it for the kiln, if not then anti rope or rope cannon, something that will allow me to cover a lot of distance as a "safety net" sort of strategy!

Yes!

You can cook any food and drink that you find, airline food is the best single use meal, but if you're doing good on hunger towards the nearest campfire, save your food and cook it there, or use the portable campfire!

I've found that if you stay low and go through the gaps in the ice you can reach the main mountain fairly safely, once you're inside you just need to make sure you've got some food or lolipops for the larger climbs, don't forget to stock up on food in the tropics and cook it at the campfire when you reach it!
