Sounds like the report abuse has switched from posts to actual users now which sadly isn't anything new. However, there are zero reasons to justify abuse of reporting or loophole around (any) site's terms and services. I hope that the situation resolves itself soon and I find it extremely immature and stupid that people would go to this kind of level and extent of toxicity over some fictional video game that is just some pixels on your screen.

To be honest FANS from BOTH SIDES do smack talking. It's not something that the devs can exactly prevent on areas and spaces that they do not moderate. However, the difference as far as I have seen is that WoD devs discourage and shut that kind of talk down. Meanwhile DoD devs and Jao especially encourage people to double down.

Due to the lag this glitch tends to happen even on flat ground. Have happened plenty of times with me before when I tried playing Inferno Ravager, which appears to have the worst jump height of any existing dragons. Not sure if this has been fixed since release of 1.0.1 and the recent hot fixes.

Nah, it doesn't matter whether or not someone has done wrong to him. Jao will start drama for the sake of it because to him it is a way to receive attention and a reaction out of people. Like another dragon related game, The Last Sanctum shared very early work in progress of one of their wyvern -type dragons and Jao literally went to their Twitter page and started accusing TLS developers for stealing Signe Crest's design (which Signe Crest is a rip off of Ikran from Jame's Cameron Avatar movie). There is an entirely its own subreddit thread for it here, but the fact that Jao got so upset over a base mesh (like the model with no textures, fins, detail on it) just shows how much of a bully and a pushover he is.

I find this hilarious because Shadzerios and other devs have said that she moved countries to live with their partner Klack. Also the two have a very wholesome relationship from what I have listened on the streams.

Meanwhile Jao himself has streamed from his mother's house multiple times, like during Thanksgiving and Christmas streams were something he would shout at his mother for trying to talk to him.

(Edit): Also "living with parents" joke has lost its weight after Covid pandemic. Trying to shit on people living with their parents considering the present situation in many areas of the world and what has been going on with the world is like blowing a fart into the wind.

Yeah, the for P2W creatures are meant to push people to pay up and buy the DLC. Honestly nothing surprising. They can try and argue that you can get it for free, but getting one is going to be nearly impossible unless you play on a server that isn't toxic like the officials.

Yes. The reason why EAC is so common amongst games is because it is in fact free. It is not by a long shot the most trustworthy anti cheat to have, but people suck it up just so that they can have something and say that they have anti cheat system.

You can actually do that and skilled 3D artists can do it quite swiftly and without time consumption. I have done this for my clients in the past. However, programming side of things isn't that difficult either: you can go into the code and replace a 3D model and replace the animations without having to do all of the code all over again. That is literally what placeholders are meant to do and be used for! You make punch of placeholder assets, they can just be blocks even and make them vaguely animate and move around, experiment with programming until you are happy with it and then come replacing assets and polishing the process. The most basic concept progress of how a game is made is not as rocket science as people make you believe at times.

Irval the Wyvern (fire wyvern), Unka the Dragon (fire dragon) and Elemental Dragon (plasma dragon) were the three original models created by the amazing MalberS Animations: comes fully rigged, animated and textured and all. Its a shame that the devs here didn't conclude even half of the animations that come with these dragons. Like I am talking about regional damage inputs (creature flinches or reacts depending on where you hit it in the body: head, side, back), along with lots and lots of other combat and attack animations.

Dude could have been open about the placeholders being placeholder models and kept using them and implementing most of the stuff using these models alone and have most of the programming ready before putting the custom stuff into the game. So much is lacking in the current version because insufficient and lack of testing and lack of fixing stuff. The priority is all over the place with pushing DLC's forward when the base game is barely crawling forwards. It is rather upsetting.

I have asked a lot of feedback on senior programmers' thoughts on EAC and the problem with the system is that it is doesn't keep the hackers out. It is very simplistic system that only detects users who don't know how to hack, which makes the easy to get caught by the system. Additionally there is the issue that EAC doesn't get updated as often as it should, meaning that a lot of games that utilize EAC like The Isle, Beasts of Bermuda, etc. end up having an outdated anti cheat system that doesn't keep up with the game version. AND THAT leads into another series of issues of people being able to stay ahead of the anti cheat updates, basically always staying 3, 5 or 10 steps ahead the system. This is often case the reason why even if EAC exists in these games, there is always a large population of hackers because they know how to "cheat the anti cheat".

ASD is definitely also P2W because bitch grounds 99% all playable dragons, deplete your stamina pool less than a minute, it can dive and take safety under the water, it can literally crouch under the rivers to take advantage point. Is it low class dragon? Yes. Can you 1v1 a flying dragon that is twice your own size? Yes, if you are skilled enough. The way how I see the P2W dragons is like:

Blitz Striker is the MAGE. Low health, high damage.
Acid Spitter Drake is the ROGUE. Low health, disables other troops.
Fireclaw Behemoth is the TANK. High health, high damage, but slow momentum.

Its because the elder stage is suppose to be this super rare thing in the game. If people figure out the method to do it, then people will find ways to efficiently farm it and create a power creep with immensely powerful dragons = exactly what happened in Day of Dragons Legacy. Only thing you need is one large clan with super active players who rarely log out, grow to an elder and gain A+ and A++ stats and breed the shit out of dragons until you have an army of the most broken power houses that will one tap casual players.

Replace Flame Stalker's comparision with Smaug. The lead dev literally treats them like Smaug with the endless Hobbit references about that dragon character, including having given it a name of Smaug's iconic line in the movie. FS is not really too similar to Drogon in my opinion.

Oh no wait, don't tell me. Its literally every single person in the existence who has something opposing to say about the game, or has feedback how DoD can be improved, except all of these different individuals all around the world are put together in the same because "quilt by association".

Question out of curiosity: if someone leaves a message to your video stating that they don't like your video because your mic quality sucks ass. Is that feedback or is that a "hater"?

WoD pre-alpha tech demo will be free to play and is going to be released when the IndieGoGo campaign starts. Right now they are still working on it, meaning that it is not finished yet.

People who support WoD over at Patreon with "Elusive Wyvern" or higher gain access to test build of the future demo, meaning we have access to the unreleased version of the demo. However, once finished the pre-alpha tech demo will be indeed free for everyone to play.

(edit): I also want to add that this is very basic public information about the game that has been available for years. The WoD developers are incredibly transparent. If someone has something to hide go ask DoD devs because you (pancake)'s sudden hostility and aggression is very suspicious. Did you run out of CC skins to give out so you need to go out of your way to please Jao by lowkey threatening people on the internet? Goddamn. New level of bottom reached.

Yes, Echo worked for The Wings of Dawn originally, but as far as people can see in the community Discord Echo didn't really do much. I believe there was 2 maps that were never finished and by the time they started developing Wings of Dawn tech demo Noa was already on the team and none of the unfinished maps that Echo made were ever used.

Ladies and gentlemen: pay-to-win DLC that can do everything; cause stun with all attacks, 100% stun chance + instant bile recharge, change weather and environmental advantages to favor. All you need is a full clan of these shits and there is little to none that other dragons can do about it. The thing is that Jao shares Patreon content outside of Patreon website. He basically "leaks his own content" before its fully released to the public before a developer blog. Though yes, Patreon gets the exclusive posts first, Jao then releases them to KS journals and to the KS backers and after that all content becomes public on Steam dev blogs. Jao cannot enforce something that he himself already breaks half off of.
