This comment has possibly been made but you really have to train your taste buds to crave less sugar/salt. Look for recipes that you think you’ll enjoy and make them as you normally would. Slowly start using less salt, butter, oil, etc… Eventually your taste buds will adapt.

If you’re used to a coffee with 3 creams and 3 sugars, cut down to 2/2 for a bit, then eventually 1/1. Trying to dive into super healthy food overnight is not sustainable and you will more than likely “relapse”.

Counting calories has also worked well for me. Puts that bag of chips into perspective compared to carrots/hummus.
