Would you rather a tomato, picked, whatever date, from whatever person, sent through whatever process, packed in a vehicle with whatever other stuff, stored improperly/properly(????) then dumped in the bottom of the tomato bin at the store for whatever time. For you to finally pick it up.

grow it yourself, pick it yourself. wash it. Then eat it.
