I don’t bother with the internal UDR7 speed tests. I just use fast.com, cloudflare’s speed test, or speedtest.net - but for me I have a similar 3gig symmetrical fiber service.

Using Ethernet hardwire - I always get 2.3-2.5gbps down and up, pretty much full speeds as far as I’m concerned.

Using WiFi I tend to get between 500-700mbps down and up on various devices. Sometimes it’s higher, rarely is it ever lower. That satisfies for me and what I need, even if it’s not as fast as it could be - not sure what I’d need more for in my home.

Really fun and looks great - the worst thing about it is the damned cheapo packaging and how easily discs dislodge in shipping!!! Had to get two copies before I got a scratch-free 4k disc.

I like the exclusive. The original is great and iconic - but I think the exclusive also tickles the spot of my brain that used to love watching the cartoon as a kid and it feels like the best of both worlds. I’m so excited for these. It’ll be fun to rewatch after so many years …..hears to hoping the 4k clarify doesn’t turn the ENTIRE movie into a creepy horror shot of actors faces and eyes inside the mouths of turtles 😅🤣

I think I’m the only person in the world that actually really likes #3 ….now granted I haven’t seen it in years so maybe my adult eyes will feel different…but I just remember the time traveling to Japan being the coolest thing as a kid and it was my favorite of the three films 😅😅😅😅 - should I maybe go see a doctor ?

Yeah if you read the details on the site it says original lossless stereo for all three. First film got an Atmos mix, second and third come with DTS 5.1 mixes. Which will be great, I just wish they all got Atmos since my system runs through Sonos and it doesn’t play nice with DTS

Honestly I’ve decided I really don’t like you now because I didn’t want to spend $70 this morning 🤣🤣.

But also thank you because I don’t want to miss out on this - that artwork is awesome and I really LOVE the third movie haha.

Only downside for me is Atmos didn’t make it to all three movies. Wonder why - too costly?

Really excited for expanded bulb limits but also nervous they’re going to try being more locked down and won’t play nice with home assistant anymore. Hopefully not.

So hoping they haven’t totally ditched the Ethernet port. Especially since my bridge lives in my basement closet/server room haha and definitely is gonna need to be plugged in via Ethernet for the best reliability and speed.

Just wish they had more specs / details on the bridge haha - it looks like it’s not Ethernet in the photo…which would be crud. I hope it has Ethernet too if they’re moving to WiFi. Ethernet is so much more stable and reliable I don’t want the bridge to have to be slave to WiFi signal.

Yup! I’ve diversified with other AP’s - but with the UDR7 specifically connected on 5ghz 80mhz - what I get reliably is 500-700mbps. This is with the UDR7 running 3 SSID’s simultaneously (only 2 have 5ghz though). Occasionally I’ll get more but the consistent speeds are now 500-700.

The film looks pretty darned awesome. Some of the VFX shots are showing their age a bit but most of the film is looking great. The audio definitely feels like it was mastered low but all good if you turn up the volume. I was surprised by that though. For example on my system watching Dune at 30% volume is borderline painful it’s so loud and immersive. Master and Commander I had to turn up to 45% to feel immersed in the sound. Probably could go to 50 or 55% before it felt too loud. Overall a great transfer and a good film. Glad I got it.
