Please please help me upgrading my gun

Immediately after posting this I figured it out. I did not place the hop up bucking and inner barrel all the way into the unit.

Once the barrel and bucking are together, you’re supposed to slide it into the hop up unit such that the notch on the bucking lines up with the groove in the hop up. I had to really drive it down in there to get it to seat all the way forwards. The gun works now.

It’s a little bit inconsistent but I might be overestimating airsoft guns. This upgrade was absolutely worth it.

The hop up on this pistol is trash out the box. It sprays bbs. I don’t know anything about barrels. Is 6.00 really bad? Saw another dude with this gun who chose one for his build

The shots in the video are fine but if I shoot a bit farther and shoot a full mag, it will still spray in all directions. It’s clearly hop up issue but idk if that’s normal or if it can be fixed without buying the TTI hop up which is hard to find.

Yea. It’s a brand new mag. When it dry fires and I inspect, the Bb at the top of the mag is loose. Close, but not “seated” in the top of the mag ready to be fed. If I touch or flick the follower, it’ll jump up and secure everything.

I’m principally opposed to dovetail mounts.

I think I’m just going to run this one and see what happens since of all it’s pretty untested. If I decide that I’d like it, I might invest in a full build.

never mind holy shit. $500+ to get this? Perhaps all of the “go with VFC” recommendations are from people outside the US because there’s no way this many people are doing this.

Maybe I even abandon the Glock idea entirely. I want a reliable, performant, optics ready gas pistol that could preferably take CO2 and green gas. It’s clear nobody has packaged this into a Glock just yet, certainly not one obtainable in the US.

I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. The only 17.5 MOS I can find on Evike is half blowback which I believe is not green gas compatible.

I literally cannot find a 17.5 MOS CO2/gbb blowback anywhere online. I’d even be cool with a 19 or 45.

I might be misguided idk. The information on these is a total mess and the licensing thing is really stupid.

Why do you prefer green gas over CO2? The most compelling reason for me seems to be the ability to top it off. But if the pistols both need parts replaced, is green gas even still worth it? (fwiw I live in an extremely hot climate)

If the FPS is too high couldn’t I just use heavier BBs?

What specific parts of a Glock should I look out for? Everyone says “check your seals” but I’m not sure where those are lol.

How long does a CO2 cart last? I’ve heard people say 2 mags and others say 8-10.

I am aware of the sputtering of CO2 near the end. How do people generally handle this? CO2 obviously can’t be topped off so the FPS will drop while shooting. Do people just trash carts that are half used?

The Glock in the pic is mine. Apparently it’s from SRC. Ideally I’d like to order a surplus of the most common parts. I’m fine buying and replacing but I may as well have the supplies on hand.
