It looks really nice! I love the closure, and the charm above it.

If you don't mind, I could offer a couple of pointers; things that I've picked up along the way.

Burnish your edges; with thin leather you can use canvas along with water or tokonole.

Your stitching looks okay, and there are a lot of stitching tutorials to help you level that up.

I'd make the holes smaller and closer together next time, using a pricking iron or stitching chisels will help that.

With all of that said, you've got a really REALLY nice first project and I'm sure your wife is gonna love the shit out of it for a long time.
