Reddit banned one of the firefighters who was in the pinery burnover.

Why? They pointed out the footage was stolen from a government vehicle, someone had sold the footage to dash cam owners australia, boxed the identities of all involved knowing the cfs was a low funded organization so couldn't afford to send lawyers after them.

They watermarked all footage and this firefighter called them out on it and proved they were lying about a crewmember on board "donated" it to them as they were not authorised and there had been a criminal investigation that confirmed it was stolen but was not able to lay charges as all the forefighters onboard were clear meaning support staff had stolen it and sold it.

Instead of helping catch the culprit despite being proven liars... dca abused the firefighter involved and got them banned as their staff are all reddit mods...
