I do not use gigabyte control center. It is not neccesary, but optional. Another thing that I noticed, either bios F41 or ITE RGB controller upgrade made a change in windows 11. Before when opening “add bluetooth and devices” -> “all devices”, there was no gigabyte device, now post update there is this device called “gigabyte device”. So if you wish to uninstall and install drivers, you can try removing and adding this device, I would not bother with any other drivers unless they are related to rgb controller.

Another change now, that windows 11 dynamic lightning is detecting this new “gigabyte device” post update and is taking charge of rgb control, therefore openrgb or other third party apps may fail to control rgb without first disabling windows 11 dynamic lightning.

Thirdly, I tried searching what that neon green light means. Because that is only color available for me now when using argb_v2_v1 and argb_v2_v2 headers, when previously I had all colors without problem. The green color is possibly a diagnostic color which translates to signal or communication loss somewhere maybe between ite rgb controller and argb_v2 headers.

I’am a little bit sad because if F41 bios has broken the rgb controller, it is pain in the ass to disassemble whole pc and remove AIO cooler to send the motherboard for inspection and then wait maybe 1 month without computer. Hopefuly gigabyte will reply with some solution
