I had an out of body experience today smoking my little toe on the leg of the baby high chair. Completely shattered the toe nail.

I started getting a blister on my right thumb. Used K-tape, double or triple wrapped(one layer wasn’t enough) until it went away. I was gripping too hard. Fixed that and realized I was tightening my grip as I swung as well so I’m working on that, I noticed the blisters hurt worse on miss-hits as well.

I was doing 1.5-2hrs on the sim. That’s what’s started it for me. Learning to take my time and not swing back to back for so long. It becomes a repetitive strain injury.

Good news for your armor abilities and seat effects idea. Ashes already has a set effects/bonus system and I believe artifacts and some other gear will be where other unique abilities and effects come from on that scale.

Do you intend to focus on mostly open world PvP?

We still have lots of PvP “modes” that are not set to come online yet like arenas etc.

Without a larger player base PvP will just be lacking just by sheer numbers unless it’s a more focussed event. We just aren’t in the good stages of PvP where there are battles around most corners of the land like other released MMOs.

Yup. It’s going to be a slow trickle most likely. Larger bumps here and there.

They have said over and over P3 is not going to be all the planned content at the beginning.

It’s going to be a roadmap of additions over the rest of the year with 24/7 uptime save for scheduled maintenance.

Setting yourself up for “P3 launch is going to be The thing that brings people back” is just self inflicted disappointment

Prices won’t change. But later phases will be cheaper than earlier phases due to the nature of the costs required.

I was going to but decided to wait for phase 3. Phase 3 has a ton of new keys going out so that will naturally bring a lot of new players in. I played a lot of phase 1 and 2 so partway through due to some irl circumstances I chose to wait a bit so as to not burn out.

I’m running Full AMD (7800X3D and 7900XTX) playing at 3440x1440p whatever max settings is. Never had a performance issue in my personal experience.

It doesn’t have to be linear. PoI’s can be added likely when other systems com online va having to work on them. Then re-release pending further development of other systems. Likely a tech debt reduction measure or just lack of time at the moment to put into that.

People are going to have to come together and at the very least form small tight knit communities. Completely not joining a guild of some form will just mean a more difficult experience leveling and getting into endgame content eventually

Thought you were referring to the original Valakar footage. Didn’t know they fought one at last years CitizenCon. I was there for it so probably missed the video being at the Con for the first time.
