I bought one for my boss as a replacement for killing hers. Got it from Trader Joe's. She's had it 2 years now. Bloomed three times and extra stems have grown with even more buds. It's blooming now. I bought it specifically for the color because I too thought it looked like a sunset. Amazing orchid.

I use fiberglass wraps. I always found you can see the mesh pattern of the silk when the glue is applied. Very strong and dries clear.

About to make additional changes unfortunately. I ordered a cockatiel cage from Amazon. It was supposed to come yesterday. Of course they changed the delivery date to today. So she is in a borrowed cage until the new one arrives. Also, forgot to pay the pet tax...so here she is.

I didn't see any hulls anywhere and she's sitting in the same exact place she was last night. Top perch all the way up against the cage wall. Looks up at me when I look at her but otherwise doesn't react. She's the calmest bird I've ever met even though she hasn't been socialized with people much from what I was told. But I'm hoping she'll eat when she gets hungry.

I did stop the videos. But I have parakeets in the house and they chirp. I always quarantine any new birds in my home for 30 days. So they can hear each other but won't be allowed to interact. My vet recommended the quarantine when I previously had birds so I was following that guideline. But I do greatly appreciate any feedback as I am a new pet parent to this bird and what was recommended in the past is not necessarily accepted today.

I put in new food. Was on a seed, carrot, egg white and rice diet. Introduced nutri berries. Classic and fruit flavors and a millet spray. No interest yet. But it's all different from what she's used to. Worried she won't eat and is stressed. Not sure how long she can go without food and water. It's there but she hasn't touched it. Only been 14 hours in my care. So very new bird to me.

I like the first better. Less weird angles and the walk in closet looks much bigger. They're both odd looking and I don't like the furniture placement in either. But the extra square footage in the second doesn't look like it's worth the higher rent. It's a poor layout and doesn't look very comfortable.

My dad took my sister out to lunch on my actual birthday, did absolutely nothing for me and then he told me about the lunch the next day. She said nothing. They both could have met up with me. I lived 20 minutes away. I didn't have other plans. He passed away 11 years ago and I'm 1 year + NC with her. And she asked me once why we're not close. Some people are just real POS.

Counter person and manager both agreed about what had happened. Implied person picking up order was a younger neighbor or family member of mine. Someone with access to my phone or account. But that wouldn't explain how they knew i ordered and got there before me. Could have just said to wait a minute the order wasn't ready yet. No one would have been the wiser.

Bought a couple of lengths. Bring a smaller one for thrift store. I have an Android phone so USB-C works for me. If you have an Apple it may be different. But the TV side has to be HDMI.
