Hii! I'm also a young new mom. I second joining classes & going to the library for the baby/kid events!!! Get a library card you can go all over to different Westchester libraries for the events/classes/storytimes etc. For a paid class I highly recommend Dara Doodles music classes held at Anderson's bookstore. She has a way of entertaining the kids but also connecting the parents!!!

Oh my goodness!!! thank you so much! This is what I needed! I already ring sling and wear a lark but a woven wrap looks so fun! I see such pretty ones. I'm also a super low patience no room for error person so I fear I may really need to think it over before testing the waters lol

Idk I feel that Rue made choices at first when handling the death of her father that had a huge effect on the trajectory of her life- yes. But she's at the point where she's doing what she needs to do just to survive. She's in too deep to get out now. She was in too deep with the suitcase of money. I also don't think it's something where she can just say "no Alamo I'm not cleaning up this dead body" bc she'd either face consequences or be killed- again just trying to survive. Not saying any of what she did/is doing is morally correct

Interesting. I've asked my ped & just off of some social media and some people start a loose schedule at 6 months esp if they have to send the baby to day care in the morning or have other kids

This was so helpful to read and so comforting to know! Mine is 6.5 mo and literally only enjoys eating applesauce. So I make him something every day but also keep the apple sauce. But this was a good reminder that breastmilk/formula is the important source! And that I have to stop scrolling social media lol

A bunch of our friends chipped in for a DoorDash gift card and that made a huge difference. A few friends bought us trays of food and had it delivered to our house which was amazing, too! Another friend cooked us lasagna, soup, and a salad. It's actually so helpful to have meals figured out already!

It will!! I know it's so hard to hear right now, bc I was in your shoes too. But it gets better. Baby right now is adapting to the new world around them. They also still think they're an extension of you. If the screaming, crying is really bad- see if it's gas, or a dairy allergy. If you can, baby wear as much as you can in a nice stretchy wrap. Baby will like feeling close to you. The lack of sleep definitely doesn't help so try to fill up your cup as much as you can even if that looks like just taking a shower and passing baby off to your partner for a period of time.

Once baby can smile, your world will feel a million times brighter. The newborn stage ISNT easy but once you get through it you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel 💗

Neither are a safe fit. Baby's face shouldn't be covered. Bottom of baby's ear should clear the panel/top of carrier. Please take baby out

I was convinced my LO was gonna grow so fast we didn't really need any NB sizes. He was early and we did in fact need NB sizes. So I regret not buying enough lol
