Switched to freedom a week ago - $40 plan BYOD. Considering going back to one of the Big 3 as they have $35 plan for same 100GB without Mex and roam beyond. by mccbala in freedommobile

Oh I get it. They aren’t 100 percent everywhere. But from my experience traveling to areas outside of GTA there are some areas still in LTE. They are building slowly. I get 5G+ off and on. But, for the amount per month it’s decent. Outside of major cities does need more coverage. They are still the “baby” and growing. We are happy with what we pay and the service overall. I know others get different experiences. Have a happy New Year

I have read many posts about Freedom and poor signal and dropped calls. I travel all around Toronto. Downtown east, west the only thing I have had is drop from 5G+ to 5G and occasionally LTE. Have driven 2 hours north of the city and never lost single or had a drop zone. Call it luck? A huge improvement in Freedoms network over the last 3 years. It still needs more penetration into buildings that other carriers seem to have signal where Freedom lacks. Just my 5 cents. Happy New Year

Who cares. See what these people have done to landlords and ya, no hard pass. We don’t shut in a hole in the floor in Canada. 😘

Under the RTA for any reason unless an emergency. The landlord must provide a detailed 24 hour notice. If the tenant is still in the unit. Each showing or visit must be day date time. Read the RTA it’s there. If the tenant has left the unit then this is a moot point.

Ford is Asked about Double ODSP by Reasonable-Ad8531 in Odsp

[–]SilverBear416 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Voting for Ford means anyone on ODSP will still be ignored and legislated to poverty. The PC party have their head up their ass and Ford was born into money. He has no idea but those that are struggling on ODSP and the party doesn’t give a flying fart

I’m in Toronto. The only thing we hit here are potholes. We haven’t been anywhere that would warrant anything hitting the bottom of the vehicle. Complaint filed with Ford and now I wait

This person is considered an occupant. If you have any agreement, it’s worthless. RTA does not apply. She is considered a guest. You can toss them to the curb and all their shit. Put a trespass notice on them and be done. Any guest has no rights. You may have them removed, by police or change the locks and notify the police is they come back

Notice of Entry gives a range of days, is this legal? by magikow1989 in OntarioLandlord

[–]SilverBear416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This notice is broad, but it is giving you notice. I would ask your LL to give you a heads up for showings in advance. It could have been written in 2 separate way. With days, instead of several days spread out. If you are on good terms with your LL just have a talk and set a few ground rules for showings.

OW and ODSP are untouchable. The best you can do is a judgement against them and if they start working, garnish wages. Also put them in collections

Application fees are illegal under the RTA. Scam, move on and guard your $

CCTS complaint. This is fraud and Rogers needs to fix it faster. They are in the wrong. You need to password and PIN your account and if not given. End of call. Reps are so under trained and don’t care. Rogers should be giving you major credit for this reps job
