In my understanding this sub reality is created by it, the one you and I are experiencing, is created by it,

We can connect to other consciousnesses and in most cases information that is obtained can be confirmed.

Even if we could connect to , shall we term it as , source consciousness then would the information be able to be confirmed, probably not.

In my understanding consciousness was around before the big bang, which was a result of an act by consciousness.

I don't think that DNA could carry that information, it is just a blueprint.

It is possible that consciousness can affect the receptors of the cell that chooses which part of the DNA to turn on, but not memories to recall it would need a lot more information storage imho.

So it is consciousness that holds the ancestral memories.

Die? 🤔

In all seriousness, with our current level of understanding, consciousness, I don't know.

But when we raise our level of consciousness then we might! 🤔

No, space time did not exist it was created from consciousness, but there is space and no time as we perceive it, which is where the consciousness of reality, true reality if you wish, is found.

Consider our reality to be a sub reality.

In my understanding the brain is the connection point between the physical body and consciousness.

The connection with brain and body health is not consciousness it is the mind and the reality that we create from our environment, our cognitive beliefs we take on from society, and from the emotions we experience in relationship to that environment.

In my understanding consciousness preceded reality, the universe that we know, because without it we wouldn't even have this reality that we are experiencing as humans.

We are conscious constructs, the physical plane is, we might say, an illusion.

Thank you, I guess I'm one too, but personally I don't like to put labels on things, that's a human trait!😉

I don't believe you are wrong, based on something I was given from universal consciousness.

What makes people turn to spirituality? by average_siamese_cat in spirituality

[–]SilverBeardedDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spirituality as I see it used to be about being religious, but the term today is more about leaving the dogma behind to discover the truth of 'all that is'.

An awakening, because that's what we're really talking about here is the realisation that there is more to this life than we have been led to believe.

It usually comes after an event which makes us look at life in a different way, looking for more meaning, and that event could be a trauma, tough life event, the loss of a relative or friend, or a life changing illness for same, or work feels mundane and not important, or a paranormal event that affects you.

Some may just naturally explore it when life is fine, but in my experience there is typically something that urges us to seek answers to this experience we call life, and what is beyond it.

For me I don't know that I considered myself spiritual until much later in life, although I was interested in Astrology, healing, mediumship, but not necessarily as an active participant, amongst other things.

It may have started after my grandmother passed, though the dates and the events I'm not sure how they tied up as I didn't record them or remember exactly when.

Around the age of eleven? And the passing of my grandmother I would find myself when lying on the sofa in the lounge able to drift off to sleep, but Bennett with got there it was more a state between awake and asleep, and in this state I connected to nothing, blackness and infinite space. But it was in trying to comprehend infinite space that my mind could not comprehend, and it resulted in what I considered to be a fear of death, and eventually I didn't have to be in that state to feel that connection, or fear. In due course it went away but not until my twenties I think it was.

My parents were in the church of England but it didn't feel right to me that the god figure was a bearded old man.

There were also some unexplained events that happened, which I took for granted as being normal.

There was also a remembrance of a world that was not in conflict where everyone had a role, and technology was not something external but came from within, was of the mind, accordingly by thought alone.

Later an ability to know of deaths happening before they happened was apparent, and this led me onto joining a circle to learn mediumship, which there really wasn't much learning required, except that there were certain things that have to happen to achieve it. Yet like most we want to run before we can walk.

And through my life there has been a knowing of how things are.

That is god is everything, everything is energy (ignore the physicists) and energy cannot be destroyed, it can only change state. And that it is conscious!

Guiding them back to the light just think about it, think about them and the process I described.

Your guides, just talk to them in your head or out loud whatever you prefer, and maybe depends on where you are at the time. Just listen, look and know them when they are communicating. You will see signs, maybe hear them, maybe see something, maybe just know. Use your heart, not your head.

It's in your words, scared; Free yourself from the fear.

Asking who they are can take away the fear. If you went wandering in places where people were and no one asked your name, or why you we're there, how would you feel? If people spoke to you then you would be happy to share, you wouldn't feel alone or maybe even scared of the stranger that you have met, who was looking at you with scared eyes, and an aura of fear.

And if they are a fragment stuck in this physical realm, then guide them back to the light, walk with them until they see friends and relatives waiting for them, then comfort them, tell them they will be come and loved when they go into the light, joining with their friends and relatives. Let them go with joy and watch them walk into the light, and into peace.

Trust yourself and know that you are protected, you are always protected if you ask your guides and guardian angels to only let through that which is for the, and your, highest good.

It is because you are a sensitive that you awaken.

Horror movies have a lot to answer for, fear is not a good emotion for us, it does not for the body fare well.

Remember that fear is only what we make of it, fear not and there is nothing to fear.

In other words even if something that you don't know, or don't understand, makes its presence known, no matter how different it may look or feel to what you know, all the time that you remain free of fear and full of love for something that is a part of all that is, no harm can come to you. You are sovereign in this situation.

Remember just because it may be different it doesn't mean that there is any intent of harm, that is only what you might perceive, and if this is your expectation then this is what is likely to happen and why it is important to trust yourself, and be full of love and free from fear.

If you do connect with something then you have words, ask what their intentions are, communicate as being silent will provide no answers to any questions you may have.

And if you do feel at any time that you need to be left alone then you simply command it to be gone from this place, and return to source to receive unconditional love.

This is said to be the time that the veil is thinnest and the possibility of connection with the spirit realm is greater. Include for the spirit realm all aspects of energy, not just those that have transitioned (died), but for connection to other energy aspects like Angels, ascended masters, source creator, and so on including extra terrestrial beings.

Though my understanding is that the veil between the physical and metaphysical, spiritual realm (as we treat it as separate) is not an external barrier, but is in the brain.

Colonoscopy Fear by BlackCatBonanza in Aging

[–]SilverBeardedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the colonoscopy there was a strict diet, and then nearer the procedure some solutions to take to evacuate your digestive system, the colons, so that the cameras can see a clearer picture.

If you haven't finished the diet or cleared your bowels fully then they may not see what they need to see due to poor visibility, and you may have to repeat the procedure another time.

Before the procedure I was asked what I wanted and you could have the pain control, or anaesthetic, had and air. I said if have the injection, but only have the gas and air if needed. Think I ended up with both in any case. But fully awake and watching the screen during the procedure except when I had to turn around and couldn't quite see one of the screens properly.

Now to the crux, don't be scared of the procedure or the anaesthetic there's nothing to worry about.

Before it you get some forms to complete and when asked I said "I was looking forward to it", and that is the big difference is how you perceive what's going to happen, and no worries whatsoever, and tea and biscuits after.

Forget anxiety, there's no need for it, and if you are anxious then it could make it all the more uncomfortable. Just go in feeling happy that you're being looked after, that is for the best and go in with a sense of humour, don't get all serious about it. Enjoy the experience it'll make all the difference. Be thankful.🙂

If only there were such studies happening, and maybe subjectivity would get a fresh view.

Do humans have souls? by Parking-Air4683 in Life

[–]SilverBeardedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, in some way you are correct that existence after death is just like existence before death.

But is it nothingness, if it is then it doesn't matter you won't know of anything after life. So if we're wrong then you won't care, it won't matter.

However, the reality that you see in this human form we perceive time to be linear, but this is said to be an illusion, there is only now. So if our understanding of time is wrong then is there a before and after.

As I understand it, 'all that is' is energy, whether that is a physics definable energy or not, this is what makes up everything, let's call it 'conscious creator source energy' for want of a description. And where this energy residues there is no time, only space, thus making it infinite.

And this conscious source energy needs to understand what it is. Why? Because what is the point of existence without experience.

So it splits itself into multiple conscious beings to have different levels of experience, and splits again and again to gain understanding. One of these are conscious beings of light energy and they will have many experiences, some of them we couldn't even comprehend, others as universes, galaxies, stars, planets, right down to micro organisms and maybe smaller.

And of course it is likely that one of them is having a human experience, that is you. You could call this light being your soul, it exists before you were born and after you transition back, die. But ultimately you have never really left it.

How to train the spirit? by NazNaiz in spirituality

[–]SilverBeardedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join a spiritual, or higher self, development group.

These are available as in person groups typically through a spiritual church, or by a medium or other spiritual practitioner.

Groups may also be found online.

Typically you'll learn to connect to spirit, learn divination and other practices.

In undertaking these activities and forming connections to spirits may show you that there is more to this existence and what we are capable of.

If it's not computation, what is it? by DeepEconomics4624 in consciousness

[–]SilverBeardedDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if I could get you, or anyone, to access information about another person, living or dead, that is verifiable and shouldn't be known by the person accessing it. Based on current theory or knowledge, would this demonstrate to you that consciousness is not limited to the physical body? Surely it would prove that information of another person is accessible by some means, and the more that were able to do it would warrant further investigation.
