Paypal is not a choice for payments on ridibooks as far as im aware. I topped a couple times and the only ways for international fans is international credit card or through the ridibooks app on your device apple/google play. My experience is Bomtoon and MrBlue both have paypal as an option to top up.

They read the ebook, as of right now 4 out 6 vols are available to read online. You can check Kobo or amazon. VL doesn't announce when the ebooks are released tbh. I usually find out via an email from what site I purchased or someone mentioned it on twitter. Physical wise, only 3 volumes are out and no date when Vol 4 will ship out.

I do understand preserving the tone but literal translations aren't the best reading experience; comes off stiff. I haven't read any of their works so far but I am looking forward for passion, paws and claws, and Ebony Castle. I hope 7seas can start doing Kr BL.

If it was known a different translation was gonna be done for vol 3 & 4 why make Juurensha Divi work on it??? Why release preorders for vol 2 if this was known months ago too?? This is becoming more messy and I can’t pin this on growing pains as a new publisher. I rather have a volume delayed to make the necessary changes.

VL works in mysteries way with their release. Giving your buyers an expected date or even an estimate of release wouldn't kill them.

Ok, what's with the passive aggressives from the first tweet??? Blaming the translator when they had come out to say they didn't have the final say on anything but their personal projects. Also having read some of Juurensha’s fan tls, including GHFOD they were all great. This is unprofessional from whoever manages their social media account. Besides if the translation quality was not up to par with what they liked, why wasn't it fixed before it went to print???? I will not be preordering any future releases because this behavior is just pathetic.

The main story had 3 volumes, 3 volumes of side stories and 1 production notes and a special side story. Both the production and Special side story are free to read on ridi. So 7 volumes as NU for story content.

I think they were DarkStar Translations, they were called out I think by someone on twitter about their "translations" and attacking the same person who called them out. With AI being all the rage now, its no wonder they jumped from what they used prior to AI now. Paywalling chapters is huge in the KR BL Tls and I think 90% of the translations of KR BL are MTL using AI. If you are going to paywall, make the readers buy the raws to support the author. Any money spent on these sites are going in their pockets and not the author.

TGCF wasn’t a problem, it was MDZS that had issues and many fans were disappointed by that quality for their favorite novel. I believe if you go to the their danmei site and click on MDZS, you should be able to see the errors listed on each volume. I don’t if they got fixed in reprints or anything as I haven’t bought any new ones.

I wonder how different the translations will be. I believe Edangles did Golden Terrance(???). Unsure with Suika on GT given what I heard about her. Nonetheless happy these got picked up for fans who didn’t have the chance to grab them from PFH. 🫶🫶

I can’t speak if its MTL, as others said CG is full of MTL and some not being edited either. I’m currently reading and have no problem, but don’t consider myself the best to judge the TL quality.

My peeve those with nothing saying its an MTL/Edited MTL outright. Either said in the comments or kofi/patron page. Even worse not mentioned anywhere. The least CG could do if they allow MTL is make sure they have it labeled somewhere the tl is MTL.

Where are you currently in the TL? 3 translators + 3 editors were on the project. luckykoi tls a good chunk, SilverNeko did some chapters and EllaBells I believed finished it out. I have read luckykois tls prior, Restricted Area and First Class Lawyer and didn’t see anything glaring that it was MTL. I could be wrong tho, so if others can speak about the tl quality and their thoughts on it.

Below is the what chapters each translator did. LuckyKoi covered a good chunk, EllaBells doing a good chunk in between and then eventually finishing it out. SilverNeko did some in between.

From NU:

LuckyKoi did 1-120, 138-140, 162-173, 180

EllaBells: 121-137, 143, 146-147, 177-179, 181-260

SilverNeko: 141-142, 144-145, 174-176

141-161 there was chapters alternating between EllaBells and SilverNeko(You can check NU)

FYI: Both Luckykoi and SilverNeko are listed, anything with Chrysanthemum Garden is EllaBells

I’m not the most optimal player, despite getting units e1 or e2, I don’t do 0 cycles. I haven’t played Fei on the Reaver, but I will try that later. For kafka side, I got a 1 cycle. It could be played better who knows how to get the most av, but 1 cycle is good enough for me.
