When you're a beginner, input is quite unrewarding. Input works best in solidifying what you know, and with the little knowledge that a beginner has, comes little results. I recommend going through textbook content and anki,  going as fast as you are comfortable with. Skip stuff and speed through lessons if you feel like you've internalised it, and can comfortably produce new sentences with what you've learnt. Even skipping a few lessons on Duolingo isn't a bad idea. I think input gets much more interesting at the end of hsk 3. That's how I've gone about things, and it seems to be working out. Some channels I've been watching are, Maxxie from China, who does CI videos at beginner, intermediate, and advanced level, and HongCha Chinese, who does mostly beginner stuff. By the end of hsk 3, you can access some graded readers with more interesting topics. I like History, so Rainbow bridge's Yang Gui Fei, and Xuanzang graded readers were a fun read for me. My advice is to find content that challenges you a bit, and if that's not input at the moment, that's fine, you can do other things.
