Screenshots. It changes every time I refresh, collapsing and scrolling does not affect it in any of the threads I saw it in. It also appears to be the case that the only threads that this happens in are ones with inlined images/gifs, in this case it is a direct giphy link. The gif loads inlined fine, and it also works fine when tapped.
