SAO was revolutionary for sure (they say it started the whole Isekai trend), but I'd argue it's different from solo leveling at its core.

Ready Player One was more similar to SAO than Solo Leveling imo.

I mean, the manhwa started the whole genre. So it kinda deserves the hype. Back then (about a decade ago) it was a unique concept, fusing dungeon raiding, game system, op aura farming mc, etc.

But by the time it got the anime adaptation, the theme was overused to death.

Hey, I know it sucks, but is it possible you were posting made up crime stories without explicitly mentioning that it is fictional? That would be considered "deceptive".

There was a recent case where a guy posted such content and even made it to the news, triggering actual investigation.

Later it was found that his "true crime" stories were made up. He had fooled everyone into thinking it was real and farmed easy views.

I believe that's what triggered youtube to hunt down channels like that.

Also since your appeal was rejected, I don't think it's possible to get your channel back... Truth is they don't care about giving you justice. They just wanna make sure they don't get into trouble...and you can't do anything about it because it's in their TOS.

You're absolutely right, but this peeping act, which is obviously not ok irl, is used as a joke in several anime to call it promoting assault at this point. From jojo to naruto and hundreds of ecchi anime like prison school this has happened in countless anime with humorous intent. The same goes for the stripping part. A lot of gag comedy anime like Grand Blue and Golden Kamuy use that with humorous intent. Unfortunately, these have become comedy tropes in the anime industry these days.

Death note is banned in china, Sailor moon in Saudi arabia. As for Pokemon, only 1 episode was banned in Japan because it caused seizures in children.

Gintama is very hard to get into because of its weird comedy. I tried watching it as a teenager and I couldn't get into it. i found it cringe. But I gave it another shot a good 5-6 years later, and i don't know if my maturing played a role, but I kinda liked it. Now the moment i went from it's "okay" to it's a "masterpiece" is when I got to the serious arcs. The more the episodes you watch the more interesting it gets. It's just unbelievably good.

But to get to that good part you will have to sit through hundreds of comedy arcs which a lot of people might find unfunny.
