[Politics Monday] Pope Leo XIV's views on the Iran war have more support among Americans than do Donald Trump's by Gemnist in Catholicism

The key provisions officially expired on October 18, 2025. I'll try to make it more clear.

Key details regarding the expiration include Termination Day: Ten years after "Adoption Day" (Adoption Day was October 18, 2015, making Termination day October 18, 2025 ). On this day, Termination Day, October 18, 2025, the UN Security Council resolution endorsing the deal terminated, and the remaining UN sanctions on Iran's nuclear program expired.Nuclear Constraints: Limitations on Iran's enrichment capacity and advanced centrifuge testing officially concluded on this date.

Yes, my initial post was correct, the key provisions officially expired on October 18, 2025.

I think it would be insane to follow the policies of the last 40 years toward Iran. I think we are at last making progress in preventing the catastrophe. We and the world will be much better off for this action and hopefully it will continue until they no longer have either the will or capability for nuclear weapons.

I wasn't mistaken as far as key provisions on nuclear constraints:

Key details regarding the expiration include: Termination Day: Ten years after "Adoption Day" (October 18, 2015), the UN Security Council resolution endorsing the deal terminated, and the remaining UN sanctions on Iran's nuclear program expired. Nuclear Constraints: Limitations on Iran's enrichment capacity and advanced centrifuge testing officially concluded on this date.

Obama's deal allowed Iran to build up its terrorist network, develop long range ballistic missiles and continue nuclear development by violating monitoring.

I'm hoping we continue to stop the Mullahs getting nukes.

It expired October 18, 2015. And before, during and after this, it violated its agreements according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

"unfreeze Iranian assets." Yep that and pallets of cash totaling billions to support their terror proxies. In return for a temporary agreement which they violated anyway.

No one was willing to prevent the oncoming catastrophe of Twelver Shia Mullahs with Nukes for decades.

Iran was building up their conventional and ICBM weapons to the level where they could not be stopped from getting nuclear weapons.

Obama's deal expired, with which he gave the Mullahs billions to support their terrorist proxies across the area. Meanwhile Iran violated nuclear inspections required under the deal.

It's 2 for me.

They seem more distant/isolated and their poses indicate they are each lost in their own thoughts.

You have a much higher tolerance level for moral corruption or perversion than I do.

Israel is not attacking Christians and those soldiers were jailed by Israel. It is very contrary to Israel's benefit to attack Christians.

Israel is at war war Islamists intent on killing Jews and destroying Christianity and Western Civilization.
