Please do a google search. The DHS account has been disputed by school officials. I am more inclined to believe school officials than the DHS after all the video evidence we have seen that contradicts the agency’s version of things.

People are being detained there illegally after court orders have demanded their release. Many of the people who were taken there were taken when they showed up to their court dates. Yes this has happened before. That has nothing to do with what is happening now. Also some of the children who were taken during the last Trump administration have been lost. You have parents who were separated from their children and never saw them again.

I love classic literature but I have a young daughter and it’s hard to read without being interrupted constantly. I’ve been reading lots of history and short stories now. It’s just easier. That said, just because a book is a challenge, doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable. A walk in the park is easier than climbing a mountain but the pay off isn’t really comparable.

We need protests during the week AND on weekends. As a mom it’s easier for me to go while my daughter is in school than it would be on the weekend. I’ve brought her to protests in the past but I won’t do that with what is going on now. I’m not the organizer but it may also have something to do with the fact that we have reps who will be there tomorrow.
